You will find more women getting active in the Liberty & Freedom Movements. They probably get snatched up quiet quickly but more are on their way. It's funny how in any activist group, meeting or movement the men always seem to seriously out number the women. This must change and is from what I can tell. I can't tell you how many functions I've attend in which not only am I the only woman present but I am the only one under 50 years of age too. I always look around and laugh, and think to myself how did I get here?

As far as the younger girls, well probably more of a challenge since they are more likely being indoctrinated in the socialist educational system. My advise would be for the younger gents to not give up right away if a girl who has caught your fancy is a socialist or just plain uninterested in libertarian / anarchistic ideas. There is so much room for creating awareness and getting her on track. A great third date: Michael Badnariks Constitution Class  ;)

I suspect a little ageism, here

OHH NO!!! not an ism! Just sharing my experience.  :)

I think I'll pass.

Yeah, when Tom says "you all MUST", you should figure that if you don't, he'll think he's entitled to rape you in the mouth every morning for having spurned him.

::) ::)

I showed up for a casual dinner date with friends ("Hey, we're going to Bocci tonight at 8, want to join us?"), and met a girl with a hot bod, amazing brain, incredible laugh, very similar interests, and who married me six months later.  ;D

Oh, hell yeah I got lucky... but "luck" involved driving 85 miles one way to meet up with some established friends, and a gal I'd never met before happened to be there. She threw her head back in laughter and had me at "Ha!"  ;D

Hell, I run into several with one or the other, every day.

Both times I was in NH, I noticed that there was a severe lack of people under ~21, both male and female. The first time I visited NH, it was during the summer holidays. I was there for 2 weeks, I walked around town every single day, visited towns all over the state, and I honestly cannot remember seeing more than like 4 teenagers the entire time! Where do teenagers in NH hide?

This is where I have observed teenagers "hiding" in New Hampshire:

  • the mall, specifically the Pheasant Lane Mall in south Nashua
  • the big movie theater in Merrimack on a Friday night.  It looks like a club for the under-21 crowd.
  • downtown Portsmouth on a sunny day during spring break
  • simply walking down the street in either Manchester or Nashua
  • cruising Elm/South Willow by car in Manchester on a warm summer night

And while I haven't been there myself, I imagine Hampton Beach on any summer day would be a good place to check.  Or any college campus (of which there are many throughout the state, not just in Keene).

Trust me, they're out there.  Little bastards (j/k).

So, did you snag yourself a strapping, high school quarterback on any of your reconnaissance missions?

I have some ideas on the girl situation.  Go where the girls are.  If you are looking for women who do things volunteer at places and causes that attract women.  The local SPCA or other animal shelter are good.  Any  art or craft classes are a great spot and you could pick up some new skills.  If your beliefs are inclined planned parenthood always needs volunteers.  Wouldn't you like to see a cure for breast cancer I know a lot of women support this cause.  There are other causes that draw women to them.  Offer to teach classes in any skill that you are knowledgeable in.  Teach them or there children.  It is easier to find some one with a brain and does things if you are doing something when you meet them.

Damn!  When I saw that Kate posted in this topic, I thought she was bringing girls from VA to NH

I am.  But she is coming with her fiancee to help us move and tour the state.  We are hoping to get them to move up here in a couple of years.

Nope, they're all ugly. Try Vermont.

;)

My experience shows the opposite, but oh well. Nothing can be worse than Cornell. (I think part of the reason Ann Coulter thinks she's attractive is that she went here.)

Her face looks like a foot. And not the kind that foot fetishers would get off on.

That way you know who all the easy chicks are!

Oh.  You meant the other workers/volunteers . . . .

I went contra dancing, and had a lot of fun, and also noticed that there were very many more women there than men. So that may be a good place to meet a nice young woman.

I'm working on recruiting women. It's interesting... to say the least.

There was an episode of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' about that.
