Are you using ColdFusion by choice, or is this like one of those "COBOL programmers needed" ads back around 1999 or so?

It's funny how you hear more job offerings in stuff like ColdFusion and ASP but not as much in PHP, Python, Perl, etc. Yet much of the internet appears to run on PHP, Perl and Python. I'm guessing that these people who chose ColdFusion (I worked for several years at a strictly ColdFusion shop) and ASP have a hard time maintaing their software and more important programmer morale and thus have to constantly hire someone new. It creates the image that ColdFusion and ASP are actually in demand because of all of the job offers... which makes more people buy into the technology. Oh, what a vicious cycle.

Dreepa, I suggest you post this on the FTL BBS.
I know a lot of the people who hang out there are coders (even more than on NHFree)

1.  It is not my program.... I frat brother is looking for someone... I just figured.. $$ sent to a liberty lover better than to some socialist drone.
2.  I don't know Coldfusion.
3.  Yes it is some legacy app and there is some Oracle coding as well. ( I may pick up that piece).
4.  Can someone post this over on the FTL board and point them here?  I will forget to go check that board for answers.
