Murphy's will be having the caucus results on the big screen at 8:00pm tonite.....
It promises to be a big crowd. And I hear someone is going to buy everyone in the bar a round of drinks at 8:30 to celebrate.
I am really hoping for NH to pull Ron Paul up to the top.

The best page I've found for Republican caucus results is http://www.iowagop.net/
I totalled the numbers and posted them at http://billstclair.com/blog/iowa_caucus_results_republican.html
Ron Paul won a single county, Jefferson. Huckabee won most of the counties. Romney won the rest.
Candidate | Votes | Percent |
Huckabee | 39721 | 34.3% |
Romney | 29359 | 25.3% |
Thompson | 15445 | 13.3% |
McCain | 15209 | 13.1% |
Paul | 11584 | 10.0% |
Giuliani | 4006 | 3.5% |
Hunter | 515 | 0.4% |
Tancredo | 5 | 0.0% |
i love it. rudy is toast.
Rudy didn't campaign in Iowa. He's not even counting on NH.
Is anyone dropping out because of their results in Iowa?
Dodd and Biden dropped out on the DNC side.
I don't think any Republicans dropped out after Iowa but I expect to see the herd thin a little after New Hampshire. Maybe we'll see Undead Fred drop out. I think Fred is probably getting a lot of those NRA votes counted among his supporters. Where are they going to go after Fred? I don't see them going to Rudy or McCain, who are pretty much loathed by the RKBA community.
RP can afford to let this play out into February. He doesn't have to win NH but it would be great to see him pull 2nd. I'm hoping for the best but not expecting it.

Have you noticed that this map:
http://www.iowagop.net/
...bears a striking resemblance to the infamous red/blue map of the last couple presidential elections? Red on the edges, blue in the middle. It's telling that the heavily Democrat-leaning river valley counties went for Romney, and the traditionally GOP middle counties mostly went to Huckabee.
And of course West Des Moines, the trendy fast-growing (and presumably Democrat) city also went to Romney.
