I like the second picture, (they are all great), it looks kind of like a Bart Simpson style gas pain.   :D

Lauren did a really nice job of the design... I really like the eyes.

Nice pictures Kat.

Now you need to make a version that's 10 feet tall and uses 2X4's for quills.
It could be a permanent installation.

Agreed. That porcupine looks kind of gremlinesque, like it's scheming to engage in unlawful behavior. :)

Some "pretty good" shots about 1/2 way through this ... ending with nice eye ...

Here are some pics (http://gallery.me.com/mike.barskey#100208) from Friday, July 25 at Burning Porcupine. They're from my phone, so they're not very good - it did do better than I thought in low-light conditions, but it's only a 2-megapixel camera and it seems to have a fairly slow
shutter speed."

You should be able to download individual pictures or the entire album.

Those are nicely exposed pictures, Mike.  I like the color range too, like in that one with the bright orange fire backed by the misty blue countryside.

What kind of phone is that?

For a camera on your phone those pics turned out quite well.

Let it be known: there is now a new category of "YOU SUCK!"

If it was a 3G iPhone, the response would be "YOU SUCK EVEN MORE!"

It's an expression of jealousy. Having been unable to admire the iPhone except from afar, I conclude that everyone who owns one (especially those with 3G coverage), must SUCK just like those who have already made the move to NH.

Like you, for instance.  ;D

Woo pig! Puke sucks! Save me a spot!  ;)

If it's any consolation, there is almost no 3G coverage in NH (according to AT&T's coverage maps, and my limited experience driving 1000 miles in NH last week). I was told that AT&T might be expanding 3G coverage in NH by the end of this year, but who knows.

We still have a camper.  Burning Porcupine is a state of mind. It requires no smoking, but, smoking doesn't hurt.

Spring will rise for all to see
The Porcupine will ever be.
