Are you sure you want me giving Kira ideas? I was generally very good until I got to her age. :P
I'm sure I can come up with amusing and wholesome anecdotes of falling out of trees, falling off a London bus, falling off a boat, falling off a jungle gym, falling off parallel bars onto my head... :bandaid:
Oh, there was that time I had pizza delivered to math class, Jeff Spicoli style... :pizza:

Hey now! Lauren's husband, whatever his name is, is the wind beneath her wings!

My idea for Sandy's party is kind of a cross between a confession and a roast.
Sandy always blogs with such funny and open self-deprecation, I would like to return the favor. Sandy listens while we each say something stupid we once did and laugh at it. That would be fun.

Party time?
The reason I ask is because I have tickets to a show that night, purchased back when this event was scheduled for the 31st rather than the 1st. I'm trying to figure out whether I can still go, or need to try to resell my tickets. Is this event a BBQ, a BBQ+evening, an all-nighter...?
The Halloween party will start about 3:00pm.
BBQ about 6:00pm, bring stuff... like Frank'n food... or a pumpkin made of pumpkin ice cream or a nice potluck thing.
Trial for Sandy's Youth starts at 6:45pm, bring damning evidence.
Sandy will lose her youth about 7:00pm, with or without her.
Scary stuff from 3:00pm till late.
I'm making locks and a set of chains... just in case.
:o Sounds like I'd better be there. Since there will be damning evidence against my rapidly expiring youth, the least I can do is give it a chance to defend itself... or get hospicecare... or... something
I'll bring the Depends.
I have spares Thats nice of you.

Our party girl has fled the country!
I have it on good authority she had skipped to Canada
trying to avoid this aging .
We may need to launch a covert-op to bring her back. ;D
This isn't the first time she has run off...
I wonder who the Canadian celeb might be?
Remember that crazy weekend in Vegas with the King Sandy? :D
(http://politicalgraffiti.com/nhfree/images/Weekend-with-Elvis.jpg)
Makes me think of some kind of twisted version of This is Your Life... ;D
Did they have the deep fried bacon and banana
sandwiches that the King likes?
:puke:
Hey don't be disparaging the Kings taste. ;D
We are busy as beavers preparing Winchestershire for the shindig... :party-smiley-020:
V is here and he is in a party hardy mood :V_mask_50:
The pres is in rare form :pirateship:
Eggzellent. :drevil:
I'm going to try to make a Halloween-themed food item I saw at a potluck last year. If you don't hear from me within the next 24 hours, please call the fire department. :violent5: :help:
We did a party where we did all gross-looking food that actually tasted good. I sculpted a dead rat out of spinach dip. We did the turd-shaped chocolate treats in a litter box full of Grape Nuts cereal, stuph like that. Can't remember it all now.
We served food under a blue light... it looked awful. We started talking about doing an alien autopsy center dish... eat out the inerds. :P
My mom sent me a recipe for kitty litter cake....I don't remember what the litter part was made of, but there were little tootsie rolls floating around in it.
What time does this start?
Yeah! Is this really today?
Starts at 2pm on Saturday, if I remember correctly.
Better day, but, it starts too late in the day for me. Driving back in the dark just makes what is a long, lousy, trip even worse.

That's what I was going to make; are you making it too?

My response is in the form of multiple choice, select one. :D
1) Dang, and we got the Basement of Horrors
TM ready for your stay.
2) That's it Lloyd is banned, and that means you can't bring your underage girl friend either. (That should get some lively debate action on the thread) ;D
3) Your attendance is required by law. You have been called for jury duty! >:D Don't piss off the Honorable Judge Jim or his mean little bailiff William. ;D

Those wacky radicals danced while the republic burned. :icon_pirat:
I was thinking DDR scoring should include style points... ;D :bdance2:
The pres and I made carrot cake and pumpkin cheesecake. :occasion15:
Tom is getting his "dancing chainsaw man" costume ready. :D
Can't wait to welcome someone else into the "Over 40" gang.
I'M already excited, I will pick up some
BBQ stuff up on the way home from work.
Catch some zzzzzzz's then get on the road. ;D
See, Llloyd? PatK's no weenie! You're not going to be shown up by that young whippersnapper, now are you?? Besides, you have a whole extra hour tomorrow for the driving!
is the government handing out (injecting) hours into the economy like they print money?
was more time in your day another obama campaign promise along with sunshine?
;D, Yeah Obama promised 2 more hours of
daylight next year if elected.MCcain said
not only will his administration give 2
more hours of daylight, but that also
the light will be brighter.
...and everybody gets free SPF 30
I see ya went right to bed, Pat
Judgment Day 2008 (BOOM, boom)
We bringing salad.
I'm bringing pumpkin muffins and my very special bean dip recipe that I invented myself through experimentation.
I don't know how to make much, so I'll bring salsa again (and chips, but I don't make those :)).
I'm marinating chicken to BBQ and Lauren made cupcakes.
47 Buds
5 Stovepipe Porters
4 Sam Adams Hefeweizens
10 Home brewed Candy Corns
Sausage and a cheese platter thingy.
I'm a gonna bring it!

Crap. I totally forgot that my roommate has still not returned my muffin pan from the last time he borrowed it. I'm not sure why it left the house actually but whatever. It was brand new, bought the last time I needed to make muffins and realized my pan was still in Stratham. I decided it's nice to have two for big batches, but I'm not about to buy a third one that I really don't need. Sucks when I just went to the grocery store and bought some rather specialized spices to make pumpkin pie spice. :'(

I will be driving through Keene to get to Jim & Lauren's today. I'll be leaving the Manchester area around 2:00p, I think, so I could be in Keene around 3:30p. Will this work? PM me if it will, and I'll give you my cell # just in case one of us is running late or something.

Are you come as our friend Dave or that "News" guy? Cause I'm looking forward to a party not being on the news.
To put it more directly, I don't want my family used for a news story today.

My plan was to arrive a bit early though now I'm not sure that will happen. Anyway, I can offer a ride also.
BTW, Muffin crisis averted... sort of. The muffins will be shaped funny. Deal with it. ;)

yeah, right, "it's for the kids"... we know the truth is you're in mortal fear of the lumberjack striptease getting videoed and posted to YouTube; next thing you know, you'll have freakin' flannel-clad groupies loitering at the bottom of your driveway >:D
I made a cake. :) My cats helped. >:D
Somehow, I doubt much of it is going to get eaten.... :shithitsthefan: :black_kitty:

;D ;D ;D
Like I don't already have trouble with groupies... of course I seem to appeal to older woman and gay guys. ;D
I want to apologize to Jim and Lauren for not arriving early as I'd hoped. As you may know, there have been complications including cookware crises and a little surprise drama at the liberty compound that resulted in me getting woken up at 2am and agitated to the point where I couldn't get back to sleep again even though I had to rise at 7am to look at a house. OK, that's the end of my whining for now. I'm sure I'll come up with more to whine about later. :D
Dear Dale,
You know we love you , now please shut the fuck up.
Pat K and the gang.
Jim, you better get control back of your computer or Pat K's going to start sending death threats to the president. Not the real one, of course. I mean the Federal one.
It was great to see everyone...
Celebrities spotted, wow
The Ambassador of the Shism, Schnergenberger rep., Anarchy Boogieman, Cardinal of the Shire, Pres...
Help me out here, lets see attractive ladies, the trial of the century...
Good times 8)

The court gave her a damn Schnergenberger rep for her defense attorney... it was a sham... the Prosecutor is married to the Judge!
Blaa blaa blaa...
....as I was saying....
I had a great time. Thanks for being born 40 years ago, Sandy (and thanks Jim & Lauren for hosting her party). I'll post my pix tomorrow.
It was fun.
I liked the outfits
I had a good time. The costumes were great. The best trial I have been to in weeks!
Best birthday I've had in decades! ;D Thanks very much to all participants of the kangaroo court, everyone who brought food, danced a jig, wielded a costume and/or a chainsaw, raised a candy corn ale, etc. etc. You're a fine bunch of reubens.
FYI, by the time I made it home, the heels had completely fallen off BOTH of my boots. Talk about being run down at the heel... :P

:D Lauren has been to so many at this point, she's really got the U.S. legal process down, doesn't she? "Objection! That makes sense!" "Move to strike that from your memories!"
I'll be having nightmares about that ladle of justice for days to come.
My photos are no up.

I'm asleep like 15 seconds and vomit has to get a picture!
Great pics, Puke - especially that one of Lloyd sleeping!
Kidding, Lloyd. :)
Here (http://gallery.me.com/mike.barskey#100331&view=carouseljs&sel=0&bgcolor=black) are my pics, and a couple short movies of Lauren, Jim, and Jen dance-dance-revolting.
What a fun group! Thanks to everyone who brought goodies, I'm still munching on the candy. Thanks to the witnesses and investigators that brought Sandy's youth to justice. I hope Sandy is fulfilling her sentence and hooting at younger men.
Hey! I lost the $50 bet because no one barfed at the party - then I realized Puke was there. :duh:
Excellent pictures Puke and Mike!

Oh, and thank you so much to whoever compiled the soundtrack of my favorite songs; that was very sweet!
