Title: Frequent speed trap on I-93N at mile 51
Post by: J’raxis 270145 on August 22, 2008, 08:23 PM NHFT
There is often a speed trap located on I-93N near mile marker 51. The cop hides off to the right side, behind an overpass.

Rich Angell called in a Porc-411 message about State Troopers all over I-93, and included mention of this speed trap today. I've seen it there at least 2–3 times myself, so it sounds like something worth knowing about.

Not sure; I haven't kept track of the specific days.

It's normally the end of the month they start ramping up their bullshit.

Indeed, they have a monthly quota to meet. The industrious ones will get it all done at the beginning of the month; the others, at the end.

In case anyone else out there goes this way. . . . the Manchester split of 101 and 93. . . right in the middle the bike officers sit there and walk right out in front of you.

Nice place to sit considering you've just come down a hill and most likely have picked up speed.  How dare you citizens drive faster than the publicly posted speed limit signage!
