Title: brush with less-than-greatness
Post by: dEadERest on October 02, 2008, 02:09 PM NHFT
Frank Luntz was on my red-eye flight from SFO to Logan Tuesday night.

I was in 1st class as he came on board. I saw him, glared and shook my head. SFO is notorious about security so I was thinking,"settle down boy".
But he paused and said,"What?"
"You know what."
"No, really, what? Are you Obama or McCain? [sic]"
"Neither!"
"Oh, you're a Naderite."
"The American people are being sold into indentured servitude and you ask me what? You know what, how can you be part of that?"
"So you're a Ron Paul suporter."
"You bet I am! We need some of you to start telling the truth, maybe it could be you."
Now he's moving on to his seat. "Watch Thursday night."
"You know I'll be watching it all."
I did not follow him off as my son was with me and I knew it wouldn't make any difference.

What a nitwit. Good for you for saying something.

Yes, the debate tonight should be an eye opener. Perhaps even better than the 'Laugh-in' of past TV.  Ruth Bussey comes to mind.

Frank Luntz sounds like a familiar name, but I cannot place it.
Dumb question, in your original post you wrote

What does 'sic' mean?

What does 'sic' mean?

Literally, "thus."  In context, "Yes, that's really what was said, can you believe it?"
