I <3 Vampires (http://[i). It's an online series spoofing... well it's spoofing something and I don't want to presume anything but take a guess. It's starts off with a couple of teeny-boppers who are obsessive fans of a cheesy teenage vampire book series. Viewers get to make suggestions for what happens next so you can actually make fun of Twilight and your idea might actually become the next episode. How deliciously evil is that?

the book isn't bad, but the movie was one of the worst peices of crap i have ever seen.

Also, it so happens that Stephanie Meyer is a Mormon (http://stopallmonsters.blogspot.com/2008/11/time-to-boycott-twilight-its-mormon.html), and filled Twilight with references to Mormon beliefs. I intend never to read this book.

The previews of Twilight looked pretty good, how can it be that bad? Fyi, I almost never actually go to the theater, I don't know what the Keene cinema looks like. :blush:

I don't know what you are talking about. The movie made almost 400 million at the box office and is the top rental in the US. Clearly the movie is very popular.
I thought it was a nice take on vampire movies. I love Blade but a lot of vampire movies are not drastically different from each other and I get tired of that. I find the same thing to be true of zombie movies. Anyway, Twilight was really different from most vampire movies and I liked that. I'll looking forward to the second movie.

Me too. I liked it a lot. Kristen Stewart is awesome; I think she's going to be the Jodie Foster of her generation.

I really liked how the Vampires - although illegal, were still generally good. Although, there were also bad Vampires. And how the cop tried to do the right thing but the people couldn't go to him with them problem because they knew he didn't know how to do the right thing. Also, how the doctor practiced illegal medicine because it was the right thing to do. I really good outside the system message. I definitely consider the movie pro-freedom.
OK, that explains it. Keith is talking about some other vampire movie and either doesn't realize it or is yanking our chains.
