The music night, impromptu as it was, seemed to be a success at Porcfest. I've been trying to organize a similar event with Dreepa for the Liberty Forum. Rumors of War would be playing, it is likely Terry McClain's band will come out from New York and I've asked Josh Noone if he would be interested. If anybody knows how to reach the Minor Revolution guys I'd ask them too.
What I'm trying to gauge here is the interest of non-performers in such an event. If you would like to have a night event featuring loud rock and/or roll music (probably saturday) at this years Liberty Forum, let Chris Lawless know. If cost becomes an issue (with RoW and Terry offering to play as a volunteer effort if need be, so it may or may not be an issue) I will set up a ChipIn fund. If this interests you reply, let me know, let Chris Lawless know. I'll get it organized and make it happen if you'll be there to enjoy it.
Yes, I'm posting to throw it back up the ladder again. Come on y'all, it'll be fun!
Come on, TCS, sell it with some flash

Sounds like an awesome idea. You can reach Ryan from A Minor Revolution on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/revolovlien?ref=ts).
Last time this happened it worked out great. The band played in one of the conference rooms and 15 or so people watched them while well over 100 people were in various rooms with open doors and the lobby of the hotel. The folks milling around could hear the band and still talk. So, if you are part of a band the plays, keep in mind that there is a chance not many people are going to actually watch you play.
I'd prefer to get one of the large rooms it is a community event. The idea is to do an evening thing. Logistics will be worked out when it is officially a go.
Hey Guys, The Federal Crime is down for this. We have been researching the idea for a few months. We had initially thought about a venue outside of but near the forum. At the actual hotel would be awesome!
