Eliminate billboards in the 4 states that still are marred by them
Bury all power transmission lines and remove all telephone poles
Reduce street lighting and night time light pollution
Expand passenger rail and local air service
Expand coastal ferry service
Expand the bike trail network
Freeze highway construction and institute a mitigation program to re-knit the old circulation patterns disrupted by the interstates
Reset highway exits to distance from Boston
Fully convert to metric
Provide public restrooms in all downtowns
Create a NEPR radio network HQ?d in Boston to replace Washington?s offering
Increase the farmland conservation programme
Re-establish the old canals for leisure and commerce
Devolve state power to the county level, with regional government in Boston
Establish sustainable energy independence

Holy Cow, thanks for seeing that! Sounds like he wants a mini EU and wants the government to do it all.
I would not want to be grouped with Mass and Conn or Vt for sure.

I recall reading somewhere that regional government is some sort of socialist idea brought over from Soviet Russia. But I can't recall the reference offhand.

Better watch it, error! People who view you as dissing 'secession' might get angry.   >:D

Not all secession movements are equal, in other words, what are they seceding TO? If you're going from the frying pan into the collecive FIRE, then the word secession becomes a dirty word. In the case of Vermont, it's that collectivist land taxation scheme that has tainted their whole movement, as far as I'm concerned. it's just another microcosm o fsocialism on a smaller scale, controlled by a lesser authority.

There is always someone wantin' to be in charge!
