details on the lot: http://www.nh.gov/dot/nhrideshare/p3.htm
We used this lot as a meetup location before going down to Cambridge to the Democracy Center and it worked well.
Still waiting to hear where the Concord carpool will leave from.
Let me know when Robert Rodriquez is coming
This sounds like it would be pretty interesting to go to. How often do we get to meet a survivor and hero from 9/11?
I'd be heading from Concord; I'll look in to some possibilities for places in/near Concord to carpool from.

Maybe you should set up a carpool meeting place over in Keene for those who would go to this if they could go together. We're setting up carpool meetups in Nashua and Concord - details at http://MerrimackValley911Truth.org.
Poster produced by the Student Scholars for 911 Truth of this event: http://www.sst911.org/willieposter.gif
This should be a good one. I've never talked to a real eyewitness/survivor before.

ANOUNCEMENT FOR BOSTON EVENT
An Evening with September 11 Hero William Rodriguez
³Last Man Out² of World Trade Center Tower #1 Recounts his Chilling and Provocative Story and his Lingering Questions
Thursday, 7 pm May 17, at the International Community Church, 557 Cambridge St., Allston, MA
Daily, William Rodriguez met with co-workers for breakfast at the Windows on the World Restaurant on the 106th floor of World Trade Center Tower #1. Nearly two hundred people, most of William's friends, were in the restaurant on the morning of September 11. None of them survived.
For nearly twenty years, the Puerto Rican-born, New Jersey resident was a custodian in-charge of the three stairwells ‹ A, B and C ‹ in the North Tower. In possession of one of the five master keys that opened all of the stairwell doors at each floor in the 110 story building, William Rodriguez personally saved the lives of 15 people that day and aided NYC emergency workers in saving hundreds of others. Having told his chilling account to thousands of people across the globe, he comes to Boston sharing his stories
of heroic and selfless first responders, his personal witness to explosions in the sub-basements ³before² the plane hit the north tower and during the rescue efforts, and tales of strange noises coming from the vacant and restricted 34th floor.
Honored five times by President Bush, William Rodriguez has helped draft and implement legislation on behalf of victim families and first responders and was a champion, along with victim family members, in demanding the creation of the 9/11 Commission, during which his testimony was kept private and later, excluded from its final report.
William Rodriguez has electrified audiences in Europe, Asia, and South America, and his message of heroism and uncompromising truth promises to be a night you will never forget. Join fellow Bostonians in giving him a true Hero¹s welcome.
"An Evening with William Rodriguez" will take place at 7:00 pm on Thursday,May 17 at the International Community Church, 557 Cambridge Street in Allston. Parking is available at the school next to the church.
His visit is part of his ongoing "9/11 Keymaster Tour," which continues
Friday, May 18th 6:30 pm at Franklin Pierce College, Pierce Hall in Rindge,NH, and Saturday May 19, 2 pm at the First Congregational Church of Lee, 25 Park Place, Lee, MA.
There will be no videotaping permitted during the presentation. For media related questions, contact Richard McCambell a 617-980-9207 email friendsofwrodriguez@gmail.com.

Maybe .... it also isn't far from here. Not many people on this forum went to the big movie showing in Keene, so I doubt they will show up in another town for a lecture.
I missed the last event because I was in jail. :(
added the poster to the Keene Free Press calendar of events :)
the pictures are a little scary though

Yeah, the pictures show him when he still believed! He had a transformation, apparently, when no one would listen to him. Now, the best he'll get is pictures with you and me!

Yeah, know what you mean. We did it as a service at a previous event to encourage newbies who don't know their way around yet. Sometimes it works and draws someone new.
Note that the driving time to Rindge from Nashua is ~1 hr, 6 mins per google maps, so the Nashua carpool should probably leave at 5PM, allowing time to find the hall, etc. and to get there a little early. We could also move the carpool meeting place to the Exit 6 Park and Ride lot. They don't list that one on the state site for Park and Rides, but I know Nashua is trying to encourage the use of that under-used (waste of taxpayers money to buy this otherwise undevelopable land from Tamposi) facility.
Details will be posted on the MerrimackValley911Truth.org site.
I've heard that there will be a party after the Western Massachusetts talk (in Lee, Mass. Saturday night) with William Rodriguez present, but that's a 2 hr, 28 minute ride home after a party (3 hours home to Concord).

There goes his credibility. ;)

In the evening parking should not be too hard. When you hit the 3 way stop, turn left and then right to hit the first small parking lot (park in the visitor or staff parking) and find the hall on the north side of the parking lot .... if this one is full then swing down and around (to the left) behind the hall for more staff parking. Everything else is packed with student parking at night.

Wait. Which drive would that be coming in on? Also, I don't see Pierce Hall on this map?!?
You drive north on college road from 119. You can't miss the sign at the flashing yellow light.
I thought they were doing it at Rindge hall.
There are some buildings along the road that are not on the map, but I don't remember any of them being lecture hall type places.

Friday, May 18th, in
Pierce Hallat Franklin Pierce College at 6:30 P.M.
Please call 603-831-1599 with any questions.
So, maybe I better call them for clarification.
as long as neither building is owned by Silverman ... we will be ok.
;D
The Nashua carpool will leave from the exit 6 Visitor Information Center, which also acts as a Park & Ride lot, with the advantage of having an attendant inside to watch over the cars.
Leave exit 6 lot: 4:45 PM, going to Amherst, where we'll group up with others.
Leave Amherst Library lot at 5:15 PM
Concord carpooling is up in the air, due to car problems by that organizer - will try to get someone to take over driving duties.
Is anyone in Keene going to carpool over? There was a guy from Winchester at the State House today who thought it would be a good idea.
We can get the latest info posted at the MerrimackValley911Truth.org website.
Final carpooling details - also to be posted on http://MerrimackValley911Truth.org:
Nashua: Meet at exit 6 Park & Ride - leave there at 4:45PM, heading to Amherst
Amherst: Meet at Amherst Library - leave there at 5:15 PM, heading to Rindge
Concord: No carpool
Keene: have not heard of a Keene carpool - Russell?
no carpool that I know of. We will head there tomorrow night
Russell, if you'd like to announce a meeting point and a departure time, I'll get it updated to the MV911T meetup site and send out an email for that. It'll give someone (new to the area) an opportunity to ride along with someone who knows the way. Let me know.
Which building on campus is it being held at?
There will be signs leading to the lecture hall building.
It is newer than the map on their website. It should be easy to find. :)
What a great evening! The Nashua-Amherst carpool had a vanload of people and one came separately from Nashua. There was a big Keene contingent for a total crowd of 130-140 with the Keene Sentinel covering it. I didn't see any of our usual de-bunkers there, so I guess their curiosity wasn't piqued by someone who was actually there and survived the WTC towers' collapses. It was great to see Porcupines there amidst the crowd of students, progressives, conservatives, newbies to 911T, etc.
William Rodriquez's talk was absolutely stirring! He told, in pretty graphic detail what he experienced and saw on that day. Luckily for him, he had called in a half hour late that day or he would have been up on the 106th floor having breakfast with his friends from the building. He pulled injured and trapped people from the B2 basement level where there was an explosion 6 or 7 seconds before the plane hit above. In addition, he had one of only 5 master keys to all the stairwell doors and let the firemen in at each level up to about the 43rd floor. He was helping carry a handicapped man out from the 27th floor and was about to go back in when the building started to go. Police across the street yelled for him to RUN, so he ran and dove under a fire truck where he became buried under debris for 4-1/2 hours before he was rescued.
He has told his story many times, but the MSM doesn't pick up on it much here, though he was interviewed on Fox25 out of Boston yesterday and it was pretty solid. He has been covered extensively on Univision and Telemundo, the Spanish TV channels. He has also spoken often overseas, as other countries are very interested in what really happened on 9/11.
Willie, as he likes to be called, was instrumental, with the Jersey Girls, in putting pressure on the administration to get the commission establlished and instrumental in getting Henry Kissinger off of it (by merely asking him to disclose his client list!). He has also led massive peace marches in NYC with US military joining in.
He gave a stirring closing where he implored us all to get involved in seeking the truth, since this was the pivotal event which led to war and the loss of civil liberties at home. He was right up our alley on this.
In case you missed the talk, he has one more stop on his New England swing, 2PM Saturday at the First Congregational Church of Lee, 25 Park Place, Lee, Massachusetts (almost to the New York border).
He admits to financial difficulties because what he does, doesn't actually pay, so he operates on donations. There may actually be some opportunities for him ahead. He does have a DVD out now, which we can show at one of the MV911T meetings.
He, and others, are calling for an international investigation. He doesn't have the answers, but he's determined that the victims' families deserve the truth. He insists on an investigation that is not under the thumb of the Bush administration.
An excellent event! Lots of networking with other groups from all over. The Student Scholars for 911 Truth, Justin Martell and Mike Jackman, founders, are to be commended for organizing a very informative and successful event. Our own New-Hampshire students have started an international student movement! Another thing to be proud of from our Granite State. They've even got a conservative nemesis at FPC called "Students Against Student Scholars for 911 Truth" - a sure sign they're making waves.
Forgot to mention one little known or reported thing that Willie mentioned:
Casualties were higher than first reported because many undocumented immigrants (hispanics, usually) worked in the WTC, either in cleaning or kitchen areas (and were in the building early that morning, as always), and companies (that had hired them) didn't want to report them, since they'd get in trouble for having hired them in the first place. He fought for a law to compensate their families, but ran into a brick wall, since they weren't here legally. He threatened to raise a stink and rally thousands of people around the federal building in NYC, so got a deal. If he would give them the names, they'd give them amnesty and a stipend for the families. He went that afternoon to broadcast that over Telemundo and within 2 weeks had a list of all the names.
Very powerful presentation from someone actually in the building.
Jack, is it OK if I use your write-up on the event in the Keene Free Press? I'd have to edit it very slightly.
He is still looking for the government to fix things, but other than that this guy has seen government enough to be shocked by its character.
They wanted him to get into Republican politics .... but don't like him questioning things.
I met William last year at the 5th anniversary of 9/11 rally at ground zero and also heard him speak at the Los Angeles 9/11 Truth Symposium last June. He is a very very special person. Someone with an amazing light that just exudes from his soul. He moved me so much I started to cry when we met and talked, it is so amazing what comes from the human spirit when faced with such horror. Truly a great man and a testament to the beauty and strength of mankind.

I agree - thanks for stating it that way. I guess I was just relating facts, but he was inspiring!

Per the Alex Jones Show and ABC programming. 9/11 hero William Rodriguez and the makers of Loose Change will appear on The View, Thursday May 24th.
Loose Change Creators on The View May 24th - watchingtheview.com
According to a release from ABC, Korey Rowe and Dylan Avery, creators of the 9/11 conspiracy documentary Loose Change will appear on the May 24th show. Also listed is William Rodriguez, who was a janitor at the North Tower of the World Trade Center, who has since become part of the 9/11 truth movement. The only other guests listed for that date are the winners of Dancing With the Stars, so it appears that the show will not have representatives from both sides of the topic. Rosie O'Donnell has said before that we have been hearing the other side for years, so maybe the show will only cover the topic from one angle. However, since the show line-up often goes through changes before the show is taped, it is possible that they might be adding additional guests. It is also possible that they might have the other side in another segment on a different day.
Does this work OK for you, Jack?
