Pretty interesting collection of stories here. And some still argue that we don't have a controlled media!

Here's another one to add to the list:

That's some scary shit!
Especially about the torture and concentration camps!
Indeed. The real owners of this country will stop at nothing to make a buck. I'm sure that everyone has already seen this clip of George Carlin, where he talks about "the real owners of the country" if not, take the time to watch it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dY4WlxO6i0
The military contractor video is right on the money. As a helicopter mechanic even in Afghanistan in 2002 we had contractors from Dyna-Corp and Boeing making a hell of a lot more money than the soldiers doing the exact same job.
Well, not the same job, they didn't have to do guard duty, PT, formations, wear shit-ass uniforms, carry a gun everywhere that weighed 9 pounds, etc. So in my opinion the contractors had it easier.
The Carlin video was good too. That guy rocks!

I love George Carlin! He makes so much sense a lot of times. My favorite thing he said was, "They call it the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it."
Now, I just wish they'd get their facts straight. It's sad when their spin on their #1 story is so full of misleading information and what we would call bias.

We may not see eye to eye on a low of things, but we definately see the same threats. You summed it up well.

It's full of the leftist "they're going to put tollbooths on the internet and lock out the poor people!!" propaganda. The truth is the pricing scheme they're talking about is a market non-starter already. Consumers won't put up with it. But if Congress gets involved, then it will have unintended consequences (http://www.dontregulate.org/), like any other law. For instance, it is most likely to cause Internet service prices to rise.
