Title: Election Reform
Post by: Alex on February 09, 2008, 05:13 AM NHFT
IMO, the single most important thing any state can do to aid the cause of freedom is to implement fairer voting systems. In particular, it would make sense to see full proportional representation for the NH House and IRV (or something better, but at least IRV) for the NH Senate, the Governor, the 2 US Senators, the 1 US Representative and the President. Are steps being taken to try to make this happen? This seems like the clear first step to me in bringing liberty to NH, but I haven't seen much talk about it. Maybe I'm not just looking in the right places though.

A topic better suited to one of the political forums.

Really? I thought this was the forum for getting things done. If you think it's better suited elsewhere, let me know where. Trying to figure out where to post what on this site is kinda crazy.  :-\

Just get rid of the voting system.
Problem solved.
