Hello, I am moving to Keene on April 1st. Its coming up fast and I need to start making arrangements. I was originally going to drive there, in a Uhaul with a vehicle trailer. However, that idea was going to cost me nearly $3000. So I have decided to fly there and mail most of my stuff through FedEx, buy a new vehicle and furniture when I get there.
Well, I have all that worked out, however I am going to need a place to live. I plan to buy land and start building a house within a year of moving, so I am looking for cheap rent so I can save as much as possible for that year. A room mate situation would be perfect. I am a computer geek in my mid-30s. I like my privacy and am respectful of others. I own an internet business, so I will have rent regardless of how long it takes me to acquire a job. I would of course need a high-speed internet connection at the location.
If someone can accommodate me, please let me know.
Thanks,
ZIM

Congratulations on your decision to come to Keene. You may want to consider getting in touch with Nick Michelewicz from Free Minds TV, as he is a local realtor: libertycrusader_22 at hotmail.com
He may be able to point you in the right direction to find a rental and he can certainly help you look at properties.
Be sure to stop by Social Sundays (http://nhunderground.com/forum/index.php?topic=12694.0) when you get in town!
:party-smiley-020:
Yay... Keene snags yet another one! Good choice, ZIM... Keene is a beautiful town with a fast-growing freedom community :)
Looking forward to welcoming you!
Thanks. I just bought my plane ticket, and its non-refundable, there is no turning back now. ;)
Actually I am very excited, I have been planning this for over a year now, cant wait to get there!
:punk:
Just checked out your website and watched Tracey Defrag.
Looks like VampireZIM is another liberty oriented media person moving to Keene... very cool!

All true. If you are looking to buy, Nick is a great person. I have never boughten property, but I can provide a character reference. He is a native so he knows the area well.
UPDATE: I am moving my move date back to May 1st, which also happens to be my birthday, so I expect cake when I get there. ;)
Blood pudding would be more appropriate, no?

Wow, 1 week from today I will be in NH. I have decided to hang out at the Seabrook manor for a bit, so I wont be in Keene until a little later.
Last night I packed up some of my stuff and will be shipping some of it off tomorrow, I am very excited about getting there, see you all there.
Well until you move, you'll be kinda close to me. I'm in Stratham for now. I'll probably be moving back to the Manchester area.
Very cool. Happy, safe traveling to you!
Wherever in New Hampshire you end up, welcome home. ;D
cool
hopefully we will meet up sometime soon
Im surprised how expensive shipping is, I started printing up my FEDEX shipping labels today as I pack stuff, its about $80-$100 per box and they are really not that heavy or over sized, thats for 3 day express saver. Must be the gas prices raising the shipping costs.
Will probably have to leave some stuff behind, but its still alot cheaper than my original plan to drive a moving truck across country.
none of my stuff was worth $100/box

Me too! It's always exciting when Keene snags yet another one! ;D 8)
Will you be arriving in the morning? ...if so, I will plan on being there to help unload (I leave for work at 2:30PM).
You driving over to Seabrook to help him unload?
Actually, no... I misread the post. I thought he was going to be in Keene a week from now.
I did wonder why he would only spend a week in Seabrook... shoulda reread the post right then and there :duh:
Anyway... damn traitor ;D 8)

I am quite surprised, I thought you liked the seacoast.
Dale is slowly creeping back toward Keene. He's hoping no one notices. Shhh... don't scare him away! >:D
Woohoo! 24 hours from now, I will be in NH. All my stuff is in the mail. Getting on the plane early tomorrow morning. I hope I dont get air sick.
I have avoided listening to FTL for the past few days, so I can listen to them for the first time on the flight, as well as a few of my favorite tv shows, cant wait to see what happens on Battlestar Galactica. ;)
See you all soon. o/
Awesome news on the move! Actually being in New Hampshire and having a conversation with a dozen people who think about liberty is damn empowering and I only visited for a day. :P

We had snowflakes yesterday. Where were you at?
1.) Excellent! Welcome!
2.) Are you all set w/ a ride from the airport to Seabrook?
Welcome home, VampireZIM! :party-smiley-020:
Congrats and looking forward to your arrival in Keene. 8)
I'm sure he'll get long lectures from MAAAAX about how terrible the Keeniacs are.
im in atlanta now, going to be here for a couple hours. An announcement just came over the com about homeland stupidity alert being at orange. wonder if that is the normal level or does it means libertarian on the move. :)
I have a ride fro the airport, max is picking me up.

Just remember, the political world is controlled with the iron fist of 13 lizard-man bloodlines, and there's nothing you can do about it.
Oh, and despite all that, if you don't vote, you're an asshole.
::Max vanishes in a puff of logic::
Well I made it, I am here in Seabrook, Im really tired, probably going to bed soon. Its good to finally be here, been planning it for a long time.

ZIM, one of our best behind-the-scenes TV guys in Keene has abruptly left town (http://nhunderground.com/forum/index.php?topic=13858.0), so if you were planning on involving yourself at Cheshire TV, you're arriving at an ideal time.

Difficult to do from Seabrook, I'd imagine.

Right. It was my impression he was only staying there a short while, then coming here.
Be sure Max brings you out to Little Minnesota for "church" this Sunday.
