I was thinking of these as, like, sports collectible cards... revolutionary players so to speak.

However, the playing card theme got me thinking... well it woke me up, actually. So... insomnia and maybe just plain old dementia can be blamed for this next inspiration.

May the Queen, the Cardinal and Kira have mercy on my soul.

I think shutterfly will print 1 image on the back of a deck of cards.  Don't know anyone who would do decks of individuall printed cards.  Certainly not of a high enough quality to play with at a Print-on-demand volume.

If you have sheets of the right material that you can print one large image on (all 52 cards), isn't it just one more step to run them through a machine that cuts them and stacks them into a deck? Surely this technology is not out of our reach in this day and age?  :D If not print-on-demand, maybe there's a way to get a bulk order. Just riskier if you're not able to sell enough of them, of course.

I wonder how it compares to how a deck of cards is made now. Print-on-demand is always more involved than mass printing, but it doesn't seem particularly more expensive than any other print-on-demand product. There's just the extra step of cutting and stacking which can be automated. I suspect it has more to do with a lack of demand. There may not be enough demand for specialized decks to justify the development. Most graphics for POD are pretty simple. It takes a lot of work to design an entire deck. Probably not many people want one bad enough.

So, the Schnergenbergers are real.   :(

Other evidence:
Schnergenberger's professional profile ... a networking tool that helps users discover inside connections ...

Schnergenberger's professional background...  the largest index of people in business in the world. You will find who you're looking for...

Schnergenberger Immigration Ports of Departure...  largest Family History Database

Try looking for Schnergenberger on the internet... you won't find anything... it's making me  :o

How powerful would a family have to be to keep every reference of themselves off the Internet?

The only real world evidence is a late 1800's photo of perhaps a Hapsburg style Prince.

These Schnergenbergers make the other seven lost tribes of Israel look like idiots.

I love this game. It'll be like the NH Underground version of Snipe-hunting. It could be an event at Burning Porcupine.

"You can't be a part of the Underground until you catch a Schnergenberger!" Then we say "They sound like this." and we make some bizarre sound that sounds a bit like twin elephants conjoined at the trunk. ** Ka-schnorkle **

Then we all go hide in the bushes and try to keep our snickering down to a low roar while they hunt all night.

Enough with this "Schnergenberger" nonsense... there's nothing to it, it's a waste of everyone's time. Move on.

FYI: Google has as well: http://www.google.com/search?q=Schnergenberger yields nothing.

First of all, for those who didn't get the joke, notice my signature line.  I was playing along, not telling you to stop (or at least not seriously... I know better than to tell a bunch of anarchists NOT to do something...)

Secondly, you are welcome to walk naked around any pool party I host.  Same goes for the rest of you...  Of course, I don't own a pool, and I'm not likely to do so... but it's the thought that counts.

Kola,

I don't know if you've looked at these post or not but here goes anyway!

Did you see my strange looking necklace thing in the picture where I'm about to throw a can of beer at Rick?  My mother gave that to me and it is an Indian thing.  I swear the more I wore that the more strange psychic visions and heightened awareness I had.  Finally I was getting too scared so I stopped wearing it, it made noises too when it moved, like chimes.

Yea... He's usesing his pistol lanyard for the cross... that way if he gets knocked down in a snowball fight he won't loose the cross.

He got the idea from the Church of the Nativity, where they wear their crosses on their belt ropes so that they don't loose their crosses during the frequent broom fights.

This is so strange, white people I mean, I'm not white???   What the heck is my avatar because I can't see it?  So you can see stuff that I can't, what does that mean?

No, pshyic, (sp?), jokes!  Ha, ha!  I'm lost without my smileys.  Now I wonder what the heck my avatar is too.  Should I just delete my account?  I don't want to but if it'll fix this I will.  I'm showing I spent almost 27 days total on here, I don't even know what my karma is because that doesn't even show up and how would I be able to see whose ignoring me when typically you don't see the name of the person?

HELP ME PLEASE, I MISS MOST OF YOU!

Nope, I went over and over the darn profile and everything that I had checked.  I think I must just scan and repair all my folders which will take all night but maybe it will work.

You know, you shouldn't make fun. It's a chronic condition that makes one prone to sunburn, freckles, skin cancer, and that horrible glare in your sensitive blue eyes from the sun. I'm going back to my cave now to sulk.

Don't forget the lovely red devil eyes in most photos.
The ability to blind people with a flash of bright white belly.
The tell tale bright red cheeks after the first glass of wine.
