1. written in exclamation as post on message boards when author believes s/he is the first to post a comment. A pointless and lame self-satisfying gloat. Also often appears incorrectly in 2. and 3. comment boxes, highlighting lameness of author.

2. a state achieved by sitting in wait, continuously reloading, in virtual-stalker fashion, a webpage simply in order to write "FIRST!" in comment section (see above). Typically realized by those in search of approval.
