Title: Vote for Anarchy! A fresh start.
Post by: dalebert on August 02, 2008, 09:38 AM NHFT
See those buttons in the right side of my signature? Just a reminder that you can click these quite frequently (at least once a day) to increase the standing of Anarchy In Your Head amongst webcomics. They're also on the site to the top left of the comic strip. They don't require a login and it's very quick. I appreciate every vote. It's a great free and easy way to support the comic.

Right now my ranking is temporarily higher than it was on Buzzcomix because they just shut down the site for a while and people haven't been able to vote but it's quickly dropping! Click those buttons and watch the numbers get smaller as AIYH climbs the rankings.

Also, there is now a facebook club.

Anarchy In Your Head Webcomic Fan Club (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=44241266280)

And a MySpace.

I accept pretty much all friend invites unless they look like porn spam or something.

This is great! Your votes are actually helping AIYH to rise in the rankings which is great buzz. Just bumping this and reminding you that you can vote every day. Thank you to everyone who's taken a moment to vote.

The standing of AIYH has gone up considerably on Top Web Comics thanx to you guys. I don't remember the exact number but I think it was well below the 600 point and now it's close to getting in the top 100! Pat yourselves on the back for me. Unlike with the government, your vote really does count.  ;D

1.) BUMP!

2.) Thank You For Voting
Vote Result: Your vote or a vote from a similar network address has already been logged for today, thank you

You can vote for this comic again in 2 hours, see you then!

Someone else should vote since I seem to be digitally disenfranchised! ;)

Yeah, I kept getting that, too. Voted at Murphy's (wireless), too, and someone else had already done so.

If my problem is that more than one person on a single IP is voting for me the same day, well... that's not such a horrible problem to have. :) Yeah, I have five roommates all on the same IP here so we get that message a lot too.

Voted. :)

It's number 42 now. The answer to everything.  ;D

So, essentially, that means Buzzcomix considers AIYH to be the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything? I've been trying to tell people that! Someone finally gets it.  ;D 8)

Yep.

But darn it, it slipped to 43 again. Quick guys, let's fix that! :)

Actually it's 44 now, but anyhoo... I do wish to make it clear that, as cute as 42 is and all, that the goal is to surpass it and head toward #1!  ;D 8)

My numbers on both webcomic rating sites suddenly went from decent to freaky bad! It then occured to me that today is the first day of the month and it must reset each month because I suddenly have zero votes. Please remember that you can vote every day, once on each site, from a particular IP address. It does not require a login and is very quick. You can use the buttons in my signature for convenience.
Title: Re: Vote for Anarchy! ** TOP 100! **
Post by: dalebert on September 02, 2008, 11:24 AM NHFT
AIYH was on the top 100 page of TWCL for a little while! That's a milestone. Meanwhile, it remains in the top 100 of Buzz Comix.

Thanx to everyone who voted yesterday. We've slipped down now, but it's really cool to have been there for a little while thanx to you guys. I'm sure a chunk of them are coming from NHFree folks. I checked the votes a little while ago and AIYH had 19 votes at position 109. The #100 spot had 24. That's votes accumulated since the first of the month (yesterday). You can see it doesn't take many votes to make a difference but as people keep voting for their favorite comic each day they bump us down unless AIYH fans keep voting as well. I believe we were at about 250 at the end of August and around 130 in the ranking, so that could be about 8 people voting every day for 30 days but more likely it was a lot more people voting whenever they remembered to or got badgered by me to vote again.   >:D

I'll keep the buttons in my signature and you can see the ranking and hopefully it'll be a reminder that you can vote again if you haven't yet that day. Once again, this is a vote you can cast with a clean conscience as part of expressing your preferences in the free market, kind of like voting with your dollars.  8)

You guys are awesome!

I click the buttons on your signature to vote daily, this thread isn't so important to it. So keep the buttons in your sig and keep posting. :D

It's a new month and that means the comic strip rankings have been reset again. This is actually a daily vote, but I'm just going to try to post a reminder once a month that you can vote every day since the vote resets at the beginning of the month. Try to use the buttons in my signature as a reminder for when you haven't yet voted each day. You can click them directly to vote!

Thank you all for keeping AIYH in or near the top 100 the last couple of months!

It was down almost all day it seems, but it came back up. The button image, which is actually hosted on their site, was not even showing up and if you followed the link, it didn't work.

Well, it's a new month, and a great reckoning has shaken the titans down to their foundations. In other words, all the vote tallies have been reset on webcomics on the rating sites. This is your monthly reminder that you can vote for Anarchy In Your Head every day on both Top Web Comics and Buzzcomix. It's very quick- just click and then one more click to confirm your vote; no login necessary. Not gonna spam you so let the handy buttons in my signature be a daily reminder. :)

This is a reminder that it's a new month and all the votes have been reset to zero. This is our chance to get a jump on the other comics and hopefully stay in the top 100, which can be done as long as we continue to get the daily votes from fans. Voting is easy, EASY, EASY, and fast. No login is required. It just takes a one-click confirmation and checks that no one from that IP address has voted that day. You can use the buttons in my signature as a reminder each day to vote.

It's a new month and that means all the votes have been reset. With enough steady votes coming in, AIYH can get and keep a high ranking on Top Web Comics (http://topwebcomics.com/vote/7894/default.aspx), keeping in mind you can vote as often as once a day if you manage to remember. People are voting for their favorite comics every day so even if I get a high ranking, I won't be able to stay there long without steady votes throughout the month.

Meanwhile, Buzz Comix seems to be dead and gone forever, so I've finally given up hope of their revival and removed their buttons. I replaced it with The Web Comics List. They don't take votes but I believe traffic to the AIYH statistics page (http://www.thewebcomiclist.com/p/12195/Anarchy-In-Your-Head) helps raise the ranking. Also, I encourage people to post a review of the comic on that page if you don't mind signing up for a free login. That helps tremendously.

AIYH thanx you for your support!

It's a new month and the votes have been reset. This is our chance to get even higher in the rankings than we did in June -- 50 or 51 for most of the month out of thousands of webcomics! *We need daily votes to stay high in the rankings throughout the month.

Voting is super easy and tedium-free. Just 2 clicks and NO login or email verification. And there's a handy URL that's easy to remember in addition to the handy button in my signature and on the AiyH webpage at the upper-left of the comic.

http://vote.anarchyinyourhead.com

It's very straight-forward, but you find it confusing at all, I made a very brief tutorial video.

* I say "we" because I consider many of you to be a part of AiyH. I get inspiration from my liberty-loving friends all the time and sometimes specific suggestions that I use and several of you have even starred in the comic. Mike Barskey will be in an upcoming comic as winner of the "guest appearance" auction at Porcfest (correct me if I'm wrong).
