Okay, so I'm working on a project right now that will (hopefully) help bring in more FSP signers, movers and "Friends of the Free State". The website I'm building has a really ugly graphic up top, and I am looking for pictures that people think signify New Hampshire.
It can be anything that you think epitomizes New Hampshire. It can be essentially anything, and doesn't HAVE to be liberty oriented but this site will be targeted at liberty oriented folk, so it wouldn't hurt either.
Thanks in advance!

mostly scenic pictures from New Hampshire. . . White Mountains, Hampton Beach, Old Route 150, Isle of Shoals, etc. All were taken by me and you can use them at your pleasure. Good luck and if I can be of any help or if you want better or more specific pictures of the seacoast area let me know.
I don't have any really good pics of NH.
I have plans to take some this fall.
You know what colored trees look like! Just photo shop some stuff. No need to go outside!

If I attach pictures to this thread can you copy them and use them? What kind are you looking for, scenic?
QuoteIf I attach pictures to this thread can you copy them and use them?
Yep!
QuoteWhat kind are you looking for, scenic?
Anything. I'd prefer if it wasn't a people-centric photo. That is, pictures of people protesting probably would work for what I am doing right now, plus it's not generic enough but really, if that's what SCREAMS New Hampshire, feel free to post it. Perhaps it's a scenic view of mountains or a road, or maybe it's all the people on a beach or picking pumpkins or whatever. It's really up to you, it's pretty wide and I leave that open intentionally to bring out possibilities I'm not even aware of.
I posted a bunch over on the FSP message board for you Kevin.

Thanks! :) The first 3 pictures are in Franconia Notch and the next 3 are in Sandwich Notch Mountains. I love to hike in the winter too; when the waterfalls are frozen and just a tiny bit of water is trickling down from the icicles, it's so pretty.

pics from Hampton Beach Maritime Memorial and Fort Constitution in New Castle. Funny story actually, the Fort is located behind the Coast Guard Station err the government built a coast guard station right in front of the Fort so that you have to travel through the station to get to it. Follow the blue line on the ground, or you're a terrorist! Well, it was still covered with snow, so I saw no blue line, and the gate was shut. Fortunately, the vehicle side of the gate was opened for a vehicle when I walked down to the fence. I entered through that portion as the visitor's area side was padlocked shut. I was minding my own business, not bothering anyone. I did have my camera on me to take some pictures of Portsmouth Light. Of course, the Coast Guard will not allow you to go down to the lighthouse, signs up all over stating that you are entering US PROPERTY and that there is NO TRESPASSING! This is obviously to stop the terrorists. One side, has a large fence. It would be quite a pain to climb such a fence if you were a terrorist.
But if you are a terrorist, if you wanted entry into the area where the Coast Guard lives, or if you wanted to attack the always sought after target of the Portsmouth Lighthouse, you could go down a tunnel in the open Fort Constitution. The last photo is what you'll see. You'll see a sign, being held by 3, 2x4's. . . a guard that can stop a terrorist in their tracks. . . . end of the line evil terrorist!
Homeland Security was hanging around there as well, I guess it's normal now since everything changed on 9/11. . . I finished my pictures and walked back to the fence. It was now shut. I stood there for a minute, turned around to wave to the tower (no one was in it). I decided to see if the fence was electrified, it wasn't. I pushed the fence a little and it slid open on its own. Nice. A coast guard person showed up in their car to get out and see what I was doing walking out a gate. . . he asked why I was there. I said I was taking pictures and he said that the fort was closed if the visitors side was padlocked shut. I stated "Interesting" and I kept walking to my car.
fools, I already have the pictures.

It's soooo incredible to live in a place where other people pay money to come vacation. To daily be surrounded by such awe inspiring beauty is like honey for the psyche. :D
I'm torn because I love the water, and I really love the mountains. I've had water up the ying yang my whole life living here on the seacoast, and I'm in awe everytime I go near a mountain. Last week I went up to Lake Winnepesaukee where there are mountains AND water which is beautiful unto itself.
I must visit Grafton it looks spectacular.

Take a look at Raymond. Very nice town right off of 101 and it's got several mountains and lakes/ponds in it and you can hop on 101 for a 25 minute ride to the ocean. Not far from Manchester, Deerfield, Concord and Portsmouth.

I actually like Raymond very much, I used to go to camp at Camp Onway for Boy Scouts (after they shut down Lone Tree to be just a cub scout camp, assholes.)
