I needed to swap a hard drive recently that was dying.
Instead of buy an enclosure (which I didn't need) I bought this gadget.
The Apricorn DriveWire.

QuoteApricorn's DriveWire Universal Hard Drive Adapter is the perfect tool for IT departments, techies, or anyone that needs to interface to a hard drive. Simple and easy to use, DriveWire provides a USB interface to virtually any PATA/IDE or SATA hard drive, 2.5" or 3.5".
I don't need to use this thing too often.
So if you need to swap out a HD and clone it then you can borrow this DriveWire thingy.
If you want to borrow it I will ask for $25 while you have the device. You will get the $25 back when I get the device back.
I live in Keene by the way.

Bring it to the Freedom Fest and we'll bid it up.
This is just to let folks borrow, not purchase.
Yeah, we will bid up the deposit fee, in order to be first to borrow it.
