I can imagine a few of the reasons why people are so quick to and 100 times more likely to criticise and complain versus say something positive and/or compliment and so in an effort to attack this human nature (and to encourage others to speak something positive in all the forums), I wanted to start a thread that does the opposite....speaks something Positive and/or Complimentary...and I'd like to use NH UNDERGROUND FORUM as my example due to the fact that I've enjoyed it's "service/existence" "very mucho."
++++++++++++
What I enjoy most is having a "communication release" in a like minded arena allowing me to get my ideas/thoughts/suggestions out there and then consequently getting feedback so I can see how little I really did know, or where I was wrong, or what I totally missed..or on occasion, what I understood.
So I'd just like to say a BIG THANK YOU to KAT and RUSSELL for bringing NH UNDERGROUND into reality and to keep up the great work!
I'd also like to encourage others to "dish out" more compliments when possible (The icons...especially the "more" button offers a Boatload of options) because ONE POSITIVE remark goes a long way.
Being a Liberty Lover can certainly feel like its us against 9/10ths of the population, but THINK positive because people really are GOOD BY NATURE (if they can just get over their government education)!
Thomas Jefferson said something to the effect that..
"The ground of Liberty is be gained in inches.", so take another step and keep pushin' and we'll all meet at the top!
(But until then, we'll see Ya at one of the many FSP bars...err, Social Functions that is! :party-smiley-020:)
SO REMEMBER IF YOU'VE GOT NOTHING POSITIVE TO SAY, THEN PLEASE FIND ANOTHER THREAD AS THIS TO BE THE 100% THING - THING (!)
Very nice post. I wholeheartedly agree. :)
All I know is Kat and Russell must be doing something right, because what I like about this forum is the quality of people it attracts.
Bah Humbug!!!!
Thanks from Kat and "Russel" ;D
PatK, I might have to bellybop YOU. ;)
Rut -Ro
I definitely miss it on the occasion that it isn't there!

Uh oh, Peacemaker misspelled "Russell." I've heard talk around the farm as to what happens to guys that spell it with only one 'l,' and it's not good! >:D
The only thing in PM's favor is that he's notorious for misspelling (at least for today).
uh oh.
Harsh penalties for L theivery ;D
Y'all, none of this is as important as the fact that he misspelled "stuph"! ;D
Lot of that going on around here :P
Keep on theme, people! This is a positive thread!
Peacemaker, I'd like to compliment you on your creative spelling endeavors. By breaking with tradition[al spelling], you're reminding all of us that we must break with the tradition of statism!
:)
It's been a pleasant change of pace to have people saying nice things about the forum :D

Harsh penalties for L thievery ;D
OK, OK, I found the L (turns out he turned at the L when he should have gone past it and turned right...he passed out in an alley, but finally made it in tonight.." So please call off those dogs......i saw their eyes in the forest last night.
Oh and Thanks M.B...You're all over it!
:icon_cheers:
I REALLY LIKE the imprisoned day counter as it's great to be reminded of those who are paying the highest price in the name of fighting for liberty.

Hate to tell you, but there are higher prices . . .
("Something POSITIVE"? Well, I'm positive that what I just said is true.)

Well, "I hate to tell you", I know that. I was referring to the obvious "1" counter on the site, so I hate to tell you I"m sorry you missed that. And obviously life would be the "highest price", but I was referring to people who are alive. I used the word paying, not paid, inferring people alive, versus dead. I hate to tell you that I'm sorry you missed my meaning.
It was a very fine comment, specially about this site, and it's counter being a positive feature, because it's good for people to have reminders of where we are, to motivate us.
But with that said, I hate to tell that I wished I would have spent a little more time, on the sentence as to be more clear on what I was saying exactly...but then your challenge got me to do that. It's a tough one regarding Positive because what I said is noting a good feature for the site...the only problem with it..if the counter is up, then it reminds people of a negative injustice, so obviously I hate to tell you, mention that part of it!
Kat likes positive comments about this site ... it is such a positive change ... I hate to tell you
I agree ... I hate to tell you that Lauren is still in jail. Luckily many of us are not paying for her to be imprisoned.
Well I hate to tell you that I hate to tell you.
THE NH UNDERGROUND ROCKS

Me too, Kat, it's a great reminder of where Lauren's at.
I really like that the "Adminstrative Staff" of this site has created such a heading to start with.... to welcome, consider and encourage feedback from those who use it..versus some sites you can't anywhere, anyhow to communicate with them.
I.E.; "Don't call us, we'll call you."
I used to have a forum section called "Bitching about the forum", which I could officially ignore. I think it's gone now.

Well I hate to tell you that I hate to tell you.
I heard that brother!
I like the name chosen for the new Parties Button
Parties and Other Fun Stuff
"The Fun Stuff" part is brilliant as it leaves the door open for the kitchen sink (!)
Congratulations to NH Underground for your Pizza Hut and Sierra Trading Advertisers! Wow, you guys are running with the big boys now! Great job to "the staff"!!! (and go go go!)
They must just be google ads, but thanks for the encouragement anyway :D
ouch....that my sincere compliment got in part, the "Cheesy" face image (!) (I didn't know it was something you were unaware of).
I didn't know cheesy was bad :o
