Title: Snowzilla in Keene?
Post by: varrin on December 24, 2008, 08:08 AM NHFT
Y'all,

See:

Then,

http://www.adn.com/front/story/632231.html

Then,

http://www.snowzilla.org/

I just thought I'd throw out the idea of building a Snowzilla in Keene and sending the pictures to Billy, the Anchorage Daily News, and Snowzilla.org...  As for a place, there's a spot of private property near the High School that might be available for such a project if anyone is interested ;)

Varrin is being coy.  His yard is directly across the street from the high school, not just "near".  Whatever happened to the marquee plans, V?

Well, then, there's an established precedent for "BONG HITS FOR JESUS" . . .

Of course my schedule is a neverending issue, but obvously the rain and warm spell kinda put the hurt on the Snowzilla idea... at least for now.

But, if there's still some interest, next time it snows, *someone* should build it.  I'd be happy to help if I'm in town.  If not, y'all are welcome to have a go at it if ya just let me know who's coming when.  Ya might even have a couple kids get in your way.... errrr help... errrr throw snowballs (they're much more fun than IRS agents!).  :)

P.S.  For some reason  the "notify me of replies" feature doesn't actually notify me of replies and I don't generally check forums without prompting, so if you want to reach me, use varrin at sugargroup dot net. :)

I didn't realize that they made what I'm guessing is a video for 'Flying Purple People Eater'.  I'm never going to be sure because I'm not going to look at it.

Demonstrating with out a permit.
Blocking a side walk.
Disobeying a police officer.
Causing a slip hazard.
Holding a public event with out toilets.
Causing an old person to say, "tsk".

He's probably the only guy that will get a warm jail cell.

the winter of 93 i was in prison in laconia and it was a snowy winter so one sunday me and my celly  made a snow horse on the front lawn of the prison it was life size  and i thought looked cool. within the next 2 days one of the leos asked us to wreck it cause it made the place look more like a grade school than a prison. we both refused and said if they didnt like it they could wreck it later that day we saw the "shock incarcreated kids" wrecking it we just laughed,   cops are so petty when a prison must look like a place that is no fun.

Would anyone care to synopsize these three links?  I have a personal policy against "mystery meat" links. Busy, you know.  :P
