Title: help a potential freestater move, make $5!
Post by: OferNave on April 16, 2009, 05:08 PM NHFT
Hey, this guy over on the FSP forums is considering moving, and is asking for someone to help him gauge the situation in his occupation by scanning and emailing him the appliance repair section of the yellow pages in Manchester and Nashua.  He's offered to paypal $5 to the first person who does it.  If I lived there, and had a scanner, I'd do it, but I don't.  Who can help him out?

With Yahoo yellow pages, he could find the info himself.

You're right, Kat, you can:

Don't send money, put it toward the move!

I am interested in the size and content of the ads in the physical directories. This information does not seem to be readily available online. If someone has a directory but not a scanner the local advertising number may be sufficient. Again, this is something that is surprisingly hard to find for people whose business is supposed to be advertising.

I have a Manchester phone book. Look for email coming soon.

Edit: Mail sent. I knew I'd get some use out of this scanner one of these days.
