and it's in Tilton, NH. Myself and Jaime made a bid of $20k on a trailer and they countered with $22k. 15 mins from Concord which is good for Jaime's career. Short drive to the mountains which is awesome for me and my pictures.
My choice was either Keene or Grafton. Jaime wanted the seacoast. We compromised and settled on the middle of the state.
now just a home inspection, funding to come through, exchanging money and keys and we'll be settled.
I'm excited. The make and model of our trailer is the Astro "Liberation"
indeed.
Welcome Home! I admit I'm disappointed you aren't here, but glad you're going to be in NH where you belong.
;D 8)
'Grats! :D
Color me jealous...
Congrats, you suck. 8)
Cool, you're relatively close to us :D
aha
look for our paper at the shaws
maybe we will have to monthly get to gethers at the tilton diner
I like the food and atmosphere there. Now I just gotta find a job in the area so I don't have to drive 1.5 hours to Seabrook for work. I'm excited to be able to get out to the Farm more and help with work projects.
Awesome Anton!
Way to go Anton.
Groovy.

And, like myself, likes to watch them do it ;D
my trailer needed a new roof, heat tape underneath, a water heater (the original was still in it {1983}), and a sink. They said they'd do the roof and water heater!
They said I could choose silver, green, or red roof. Since the trailer is red and white I chose red.
anyone know how hard it is to re-do heat tape under a trailer? how about putting down "plastic" for moisture control? I'm wondering if I should just pay someone to do it since I'm mechanical enough to make toast.
and if I do it wrong, I will be toast. Things are looking grrrrrrrreat!
(now to find a new job)
This is great news man. Tilton/Franklin is one of the areas that I first looked at when looking at NH. I still think it is a fantastic area because taxes are low (especially Franklin), there are plenty of stores right there, there is a hospital, and both Concord and the mountains (and lakes) are right there.
thanks Mr. Stuph!
I had yet another friend (on welfare) who told me I was going to live in a tin-can and they wouldn't visit me. Most of my friends are on welfare and have some sort of help paying the electric bills, rent, and food supplies. That opens up their money supply to pay for things like weed and ipod touch's.
and I'm going to have a place of my own eventually. After the mortgage is paid (only a $12k mortgage after I put $10k down) I'll have something to live in besides my car that I actually (kindof) own.

I'm glad I'm moving far enough away from these 'friends' who call me names and tell me I'm a crazy anarchist. I'm very happy that I'll be closer to more independent people.
Anton, Russell and I have done heat tape, winterizing for a mobile home before. Just let us know if you want us to help.

Adding venting that can be blocked when the ground is frozen in the winter should help. Also make sure the downspout from the gutters is placing the water far away from the skirting...
From the picture the crawlspace looks rather tight.

it's tight but I'm big and I can still fit under there. They screwed all the skirting together, I had to remove some to open it up for the inspector. Thanks for the tips. The inspector told me to put down some plastic on the ground on the inside. . . I'm going to have to look online to see what's up with that.

Vapor barrier. Put down a sheet of heavy plastic, and cover with 3-4 inches of pea gravel.
and. . . . with a crash I've landed. a big ass thump.
I'm in Tilton now, anyone want to hang out soon? PM me. Don't be offended if I don't get back to you just yet. .. I've got no internet as of right now but I hope to remedy this shortly.
Thanks to everyone who offered to help move in, but it's been taken care of. I had to make like 20 trips from the MA border but most of our stuff is in! Two more liberty lovers for the Shire and Lakes region!
Welcome to the Free State! ;D
Welcome to the Shire 8)
(I thought there was a seismic event to the east)

thanks everyone!
Welcome Home guys! And thanks for coming Home.
I have a secret little hide away over in Sanbornton where a few (up to six) people can hang out by/in the indoor pool, in the hot tub, and in the spa. This could happen some day soon.
Congratulations Anton! ;D
Congratulation Anton, this is a good looking home. You got a great deal. :D :grommit:
