I am currently distributing several WikiLeaks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WikiLeaks)-related archive files through my little Web-site (http://alexlibman.com/dl/wikileaks/) (I used to have more HTTP mirrors, but they're down temporarily) and a number of BitTorrent seedbox (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seedbox)es:
- wikileaks_archive_full (http://alexlibman.com/dl/wikileaks/wikileaks_archive_full.torrent) [2] (http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/6040906/Compleat_Wikileaks_Archive) [3] (http://btjunkie.org/torrent/Compleat-Wikileaks-Archive/4358f844fb8eccff3e8fc2bc7acb8d3de76eef18ab9a) [browse] (http://alexlibman.com/dl/wikileaks/wikileaks_archive_full) -- 14.8 GB -- A large collection of older WikiLeaks archives, created by somebody else. The original torrent was called the "compleat" archive, based on wikileaks_archive.7z (http://alexlibman.net/dl/wikileaks/wikileaks_archive_full/----Source_Files----/wikileaks_archive.7z.torrent) (an annoying little torrent containing 42,827 .torrent files inside it) officially released by WikiLeaks. See READMEFIRST.txt (http://alexlibman.com/dl/wikileaks/wikileaks_archive_full/READMEFIRST.txt) for more info.

(You can always check the bottom of this page (http://wikileaks.ch/cablegate.html) to make sure it's the latest.) Expands to 208 MB (3,922 files in 136 folders). If you run a WikiLeaks "pull" / "scrape" mirror, then extract this update in the Web path. This is really the newest and most important content to proliferate, in case the bad guys suddenly deploy HTTP filtering on all major ISP's.
- insurance.aes256 (http://alexlibman.com/dl/wikileaks/insurance.aes256.torrent) [2] (http://thepiratebay.org/search/wikileaks%20insurance/0/7/0) [3] (http://btjunkie.org/search?q=wikileaks+insurance) [HTTP] (http://alexlibman.com/dl/wikileaks/insurance.aes256) -- 1.4 GB -- The WikiLeaks encrypted "insurance file (http://cryptome.org/0002/wl-diary-mirror.htm)" containing still unreleased materials. Also included in the full / "compleat" archive above.
- wikileaks.ch-scrape-20110124.7z (http://alexlibman.net/dl/wikileaks/wikileaks.ch-scrape-20110124.7z.torrent) [2] (http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/6126315/WikiLeaks.ch_site_scrape_-_Jan_24__2011) [3] (http://btjunkie.org/torrent/WikiLeaks-ch-site-scrape-Jan-24-2011/43586aff79537c95cd85a31b80fe54a3e17194a24e19) [HTTP] (http://alexlibman.net/dl/wikileaks/wikileaks.ch-scrape-20110124.7z) -- 23.2 MB -- An external scrape (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_scraping) of WikiLeaks.ch (http://wikileaks.ch/). Expands to 453 MB. Just extract to any Web-space and most things should work. Can be updated via `wget (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wget)` and/or via the "cablegate-YYYYMMDDHHMM.7z" files.

Some links don't work right. This is probably the least important thing right now, but it's still archived for the sake of completeness.

Random thought: I see helping distribute this data as a small act of digital civil disobedience, so I gave a second's thought about whether to put this thread into a civ-dis section of this forum, but went with "outside the shire", because I don't have any Web servers or seedboxes inside New Hampshire. I've been looking for a good dedicated server inside the Free State, but couldn't find one. (Dyn, which is based in NH, keeps their servers elsewhere (http://www.dyndnscommunity.com/questions/8029/new-hampshire-server)). Even for my own connection while I was there, I had to use satellite Internet, which was lousy...

Yep, just watched it. Steve Kroft was very disapproving and thought he was hitting him hard. Assange just smiled and explained. Good stuff.
I thought Assange handled himself very well. Here is what was going thru my mind listening to Krofts:
In the early days of 60 minutes, they did some real investigative reporting and shook things up. Every week people tuned in to see Mike Wallace chasing some bureaucrat or crooked businessman, who was trying to avoid the questions, down the street. 60 minutes doesn't do that any more. They put down people doing the 21st century equivalent.

There are some issues at the moment:
- The Pirate Bay (http://thepiratebay.org/) is currently down, and I usually upload the torrent there first so that other download sites (ex. BTJunkie, etc) would also use PB's trackers as well... (EDIT: OK, it's back up after ~3.5 hours of downtime. Links added above.)
- It seems that somebody at WikiLeaks goofed (yet again), because there were three releases right next to each-other, at 12:10 AM, 12:50 AM, and 1:58 AM. I'm currently archiving (http://alexlibman.org/dl/wikileaks/) / seeding all of them, and the above info and links are for the newer of the three.

There are some issues at the moment:
- This is the fifth update in a single day, which is very unusual. I'm seeding all of them, but I'm only posting the 3rd and 5th (this one).
- I made a typo in the torrent title on some BT sites, calling it for Feb 2nd, which should be Feb 3rd. My bad.
Leaks covered by mainstream press, and other related news stories:

This thread is fine as a soliloquy -- my main priority is to get the latest leaks proliferated and linked to from as many places as possible, so I'm pasting this into a number of different forums -- but I do welcome discussion, comments, etc.

This means war!
I no longer support Wikileaks, and I regret that I ever did!
This even more so applies to Anonymous and LulzSec, though fortunately I've done very little for them!
From now on, any leaks or hacker organization I support will have to be explicitly focused against the commies. For every one action that hurts Uncle Sam, they should do several dozen that hurt Putin, Chavez, Jong-il, CCP, Islamists, and the like.
