Yep - one of the purposes is to bring the various activist communities around the Shire together into one place and encourage more cross-pollenation between them, rather than having everyone mostly separate on Facebook. Plus, it's important to not rely solely on Facebook for communications for a variety of reasons.
It's now easier to join the Shire Society forum. Rather than requiring everyone to be Shire Society members, we're opening it to anyone who supports the right of Shire Society members (and other humans) to peacefully exist without being aggressed against.
Plus, new Manchester forums have been added!

how is it going now?
Slowed down a bit - still more topics this month than the other NH liberty forums.
It is funny how the forums and blog comments go ..... so many trolls and guys who want to argue. Over time I think the reported activism will be enjoyed by so many viewers it doesn't even matter if the post count slows down. :)
