Title: Help get Maker Space started in the Upper Valley
Post by: John on October 30, 2013, 08:50 PM NHFT
fyi:

Hi,
Please join us for our first meeting this Saturday, November 2 at 2 pm at Salt
Hill in Lebanon to help us get a Maker Space started in the Upper Valley.

What is a Maker Space, you ask   it is (in part) a community-operated work
space where people with common interests, often in crafts, computers,
technology, science, and art, can meet, socialize and/or collaborate. The Upper
Valley Maker Space will be a place that will house a combination of work,
meeting, classroom and office space. It will have tools and equipment for
members to use such as 3-D printers, a laser cutter, CNC machines, a long-arm
quilting machine or whatever the membership decides as a group is needed. There
will be classes on a variety of subjects of interest, and training to use the
specialized equipment.

For more info and to RSVP please go to http://www.meetup.com/
UpperValleyMakerSpace/

Please share this with anyone you know who might want to get involved.
