Post by: Dreepa on March 02, 2006, 11:01 AM NHFT
Ok I have talked to a few companies and have it narrowed down.

Here are the options:

Option 1:

Keep NH Free
NHFREE.COM[size]

Option 2:

NHFREE.COM[size]

Option 3
Input you design here.

I am having white letters with Green background
and
Green letters with white background.
They will be 3 inches by 10 inches.

I will be selling them for approx $2 apiece.  All profits will go to LSF or the maintence of this site.

I would like to order by this Monday.
Also is you are interested in the small oval designs let me know we can order those after this go round.

i don't understand well enough to vote.

however i do like the idea of dark lettering over white background .
main priority should be seeing it from a distance.

Post by: Dreepa on April 03, 2006, 11:22 AM NHFT
Here it is:

(//)

Cost $2 in person or $2.50 if I have to mail it. ($4.50 for 2 if I am mailing).

If you want one PM me. Cash or check or silver.

I don't have that many.. just trying to test the waters.  Money above cost will go to a good cause (LSF or site maintence or bail or whatever).

Until the image is posted.
It is one of those 'Euro' Ovals with NHFREE in the middle.

I don't think that nhfree.com is a very good sight for John Q. Public to visit for the first time.  There is too much flaming going on here, and the statements made are not necessarily the best to attract outsiders to the movement.

I have been suggesting that people visit nhliberty.org.  I think that this is a better site for newbies.  It presents the legislative voting records, and gives the layman a better view of what we're working towards.

There is lots of action there. That forum has about 15 posts.  That will encourage people to become active.
Plus I couldn't fit NHLIBERTY.ORG on the bumpersticker.

Max,   I will put you down for two!

I suggest you make .com more prominent... critical info should be legible from a distance.
Title: Re: NHFREE Bumperstickers
Post by: Dreepa on April 06, 2006, 07:15 AM NHFT
They are already made.
The .com added to the middle section would have made the NHFREE.COM too small to see.

There are what they are.

If all of these sell I will over the 3X7 rectangle ones.
Title: Re: NHFREE Bumperstickers
Post by: FTL_Ian on April 06, 2006, 12:24 PM NHFT
I like the circle design, but there seems to be plenty of space for a ".com" right below "NHFREE".  Also, I don't know how much this would increase the cost, but making the background neon yellow instead of white will increase contrast, and draw attention better.

Otherwise, I like how simple it is, simple is good.

Do a search for "nhfree" on Yahoo or Google, and the very first listing is nhfree.com.

I think it'll be fine like it is.

We'll just have to give it some competition someday, because you can't expect people to take the extra step.  You must make it as easy and direct as possible to learn more.

I have thick skin I can take it. ;)

1.  I tried to put the .com but the letters became too small.
2.  I never go to any website any more.  I just go to google and type it in there.  It gets me where I need to be.

I was going to do rectangle ones with NHFREE.COM in huge letters.  Once these sell out I will order those.

I think my car is as full of stickers as it can tastefully be - NHFREE, thinklibertarian, Plymouth State, and the NRA. I'm not aiming for something like the KFP van (though I must admit that thing is a beast!).

I'll think about other ways to display some stickers besides me car and maybe I'll buy another one from you. Any ideas?

Heh, sticking "vote for *other candidate*" on peoples cars during an election without their consent, in a really godawful ugly sticker, now that is an underhanded way to win an election.

Hi Ian,

I didn't see this post.

There are now 4 total bumperstickers.

The one that you posted.
Also go back one page and you will see:
NH one
FSP one
and a rectangle one for NHFREE.com

PM me your address and I will mail it.
$2.50 for the first one
$2.00 each one after that.

Or $2.00 in person.  I should be at the next MVP meeting.
Maybe someone in Keene should buy 10 or so and sell them there.
Remember once I 'break even' funds will go to this site.

PayPal is all right if (1) you haven't given them a Socialist Surveillance Number, and (2) you are extremely careful if you use it for auction payments.
