:DWelcome ladies and thanks to Kat for setting this up. This is the brainchild of several women who largely at the same time thought of getting the ladies of our liberty loving crowd together. We have no ultimate mission other than gathering and welcoming other women into the fold.

At our first dinner we talked about everything from out careers, to our children, to various liberty events, to green beer - well, it WAS St. Patrick's Day!
We brought up some of our pet passions, new interests, freedom fighting ideas and various other topics.

This group is open to all liberty loving ladies who wish for fellowship and friendship. We have ears to listen, voices to join in with, arms to hug...but most importantly brains and hearts to share with others in our lives working toward liberty.

So, please feel free to post here and join us.
Looking forward to seeing you,

Margot Keyes
Mom of four

I just made it from the LL list to here.  Now I'm working out all my user preferences and wanted to make a post so I could see my signature.  Hope it's okay that I'm latching on here.

Yeah, anyway... Avens is in the HOUSE!  Haha.  Or... on the FORUM!

Hey Ladies of Liberty.  So what kinds of things are you all doing together?

Hi Annie!
We are just a group of women who like to get together socially & hang out.  We have meals, go shopping & talk about what's going on in our lives.  Many of us have moved here from out of state & it's real nice to be able to talk to other women who are like-minded.
Hope to hear from you again.   ;D

I was confused to see this thread all switched around and a hi to me up above my question LOL.  But then I remembered that things can be maneuvered mysteriously, nothing is set in stone here.  Thanks for the answers as to what you all do.  I am hoping to be able to get involved with some of these happenings at some point.  Transportation is an issue for me at right now, but I am hoping to be able to get myself a car of my own as soon as I can figure out how to get enough money together for one.  I want to get a part time job; that would help, but getting to a job without the car...you know the story ;)  But when I get it all figured out, I would love to come and spend some time with you ladies.  Sounds like fun.  :)

I just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself - I hope I have added to this topic correctly - my first time posting in a forum.

I'm Joyce Maree or JP and I am moving to NH next week- if all goes well. I will be looking for temp lodging until I decide where I actually want to live and where I will be working. I'm hoping I will be able to find decent work. I am really jumping off the bridge here and coming in blind, other than FSP, and will look forward to connecting with this group.

I have already spoken to a few of you through email,  like Margo and Jenn who has been really great and supportive. Thanks Jenn.

For right now, I think I am going to try to find something in the Concord area or close to it. I just had a horendous experience in western MA so I will be very cautious before committing to anything.

If anyone knows of an inexpensive hotel/motel/cabin/cottage that accepts animals (I have a few) where I could live temporarily that would be helpful.

I'm relocating from NY and am really excited to join the fight for freedom. I am pre-retirement age, love animals, nature and above all freedom. I was glad to see a ladies gun night.

I look forward to meeting you all soon and becoming active in the movement. The car registration process sounds a little scary - I have to dig out all my papers - if I can find them.

Till next time,
Joyce  :)

Welcome to The Shire.

libertyladies.org  is the web site.  Get on the email list.  That is where most of the information is.

Feel free to post on here because a lot of us are here too.

Have you updated your adress on the FSP web site?

If you are a first 1000 pledge member you also need to go to pledgebook.com and check off that you completed the pledge.

Look forward to meeting you.

hi girls, i'm new here...

so, i want to join up with the liberty ladies; however, i have one little issue...

i'm a huge tom boy...  i've always been around "the dudes" (they named themselves that... i swear), and got to the point where just don't like girl stuff.

including *this note is for the boys* being hit on by guys!!!!!  i hate that.  don't wanna date, so back off.

anywho, i'd love to hand out with some great liberty minded women, but i just fear i wouldn't fit in AT ALL.  however, if anyone is interested, i plan on joining the local roller derby team once i get medical insurance, and would love to bring some libertarian girls with me!

hope being a tom boy doesn't excluding me from being a liberty lady ;)

I know you are talking about me.

I also don't want anyone hitting on me either.

Meg I think you will like the Liberty Ladies.  We are a great group women who do all sorts of things.

I'm hosting a SAS ladies shoot on Sunday at Wilson Hill pistol club at 3:00pm.

I was also planning on going to the ice cream social afterward.

Hi liberty ladies,

My name is Lisa and I'm visiting NH for the first time next week.  I'll be writing the NH bar exam on Tuesday and Wednesday, which will basically feel like being punched in the face over and over again for two days... I'm from Chicago and me and my husband are thinking of moving down maybe next year some time.  I will be istaying n Manchester and was wondering if any of you girls would like to organize something for Wednesday evening if you're free.  thank you

Hello Lisa.

Welcome.   I do hope you won't hold the bar exam against us in your decision to move to NH. ;)

Have you had a chance to go to libertyladies.org.   That is where most of the Liberty Ladies stuff goes on.
Please go and join.  Chris will ask you to tell us about yourself when you sign up.
Also post that you would like to met a bunch of us next Wednesday.  I'm sure we can get some people together for you.

I will not be able to attend.  My FiancĂ© is taking me out for my Birthday.
Kate

thank you for checking with admin.  I don't know how much internet access I'll have until Wednesday.  In case any liberty ladies would like to meet up wednesday evening my cell phone is (312) 636-8057.  I know its short notice, and I'm not sure whether this is the place to be posting.  no worries if you can't, I'm sure I'll be back sometime soon.

Today was my first day here.  I walked around Manchester a little aimlessly, but it looks like a really nice place, I'm tempted to skip the bar exam. but i won't...

Hi Lisa and all ladies of liberty.
I'm sorry for my poor admin skills, but I am very technically challenged and am currently unable to add anyone (for now...)
Please be patient with me.

I won't be able to join you tomorrow night, but I will put the word out there to the other ladies on our mailing list.

Talk to you soon.  Chris
