Title: 2/17/07 Plymouth Liberty Network meeting
Post by: Jason Rand on January 24, 2007, 12:04 PM NHFT
Mark you calendars.  Our next meeting will be Feb. 17 at the Campton Falls Marketplace on Rt. 49 in Campton (at the lights).  Their phone number, if you want to call in a food order ahead of time, is 726-7162.   We will start at 5 pm, but if you can't make it that early, arrive whenever you can.  They are open till 9.  They have free wireless access, so if you have a laptop you can bring, please do.  One of the things we will do is look at various websites and brainstorm ideas on improving our own website: plymouthliberty.org.  If you have any other ideas for action items we should work on, please post in this thread.

A REMINDER that the Plymouth Liberty Network will be getting together this Saturday, Feb. 17, at 5 p.m. at the Campton Falls Marketplace in beautiful downtown Campton! (I-93 to Exit 28, East on Rt. 49, Marketplace will be on your left at the traffic light)

1.  We're going to have a guest speaker - Jane Aitken - of the Coalition of NH Taxpayers (www.cnht.org). Jane will discuss organizing an effective taxpayers group.
Here's a little info about CNHT taken from their website:

You are most likely here because you cherish the individual and political freedoms you enjoy in New Hampshire and would like to preserve them. The Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers is dedicated to this cause. With an effective statewide effort we can control and even reduce the size of government at all levels, put a stop to judicial activism, provide students and parents with a choice of educational opportunities, expand our job market, and protect our ever shrinking property rights.  Your individual Contributions fuel the 'grassroots' effort against the intrusion and expansion of all levels of government, especially at the local level. Check out our Radio Show and News Forum for insider NH news and information. Support us by purchasing CNHT Merchandise and join us in the many Events that take place in NH.

2.  Jason Rand will discuss the Alternative Expo that will be at the NH Liberty Forum, Feb. 22-25.

3.  Jan and Tyler (and anyone else that attended the recent NH Common Sense meeting) will update everyone on House Bill 92 Decriminalizing Marijuana and the efforts of NH Coalition for Common Sense Marijuana Policy.

We hope we'll see you Saturday night.

NOTE:   Campton Falls Marketplace has an extensive deli, including pizza and sandwiches.  Please plan on ordering your dinner when you arrive so you can eat while we're socializing/meeting.  As always, feel free to bring along any liberty-loving friends!
