Kate and I will be packing up the truck and arriving in NH - destination TBA - on August 5th, ready or not.
We'll do our best to have all the necessary schtuff ready for any of you I-love-to-help-people-move types. Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and coffee. :D
Taking requests now for food. What have people enjoyed most or would like to have? Pizza, Mexican, Chinese, a pig roast?
We've been away for far to long, and we're finally coming home. See all you beautiful people soon.
Bill and Kate
Aw hell yeah! 8)
Very cool. Of course, I already knew that. But cool to see it "officially" announced. Now you can't back out :)
Joe
Don't forget Explosives!
Great!
Congrats!
glad you guys are inbound!!!
Yay!
Booya!
We'd love to have you in Keene!
;D 8)
You guys are so great. For anyone that doesn't know Bill and Kate, they will go far out of their way to help spread the message of freedom. They have always treated me super.

Thanks very much for the warm welcome. As sorry as we are to leave all of the fantastic people we've met in VA, we're very eager to live in NH, far more eager than about doing the actual packing and moving, but...
Anyway, we'll try our very best to trim down the useless shiite we own, so hopefully we might have less than Kevin Roll. :O
I can't quite remember, but are there lots of vegetarian types in the welcome wagon crews? I'd like to have something better than crudite, which, Error, always sounded to me like some kind of British explosive, when you say it the wrong way, but most of the really yummy veggy stuff I'm familiar with requires lots of prep, which I obviously can't engage in while conducting a 2-day moving extravaganza. Anyone who can thoughtfully accomodate the nice rabbit-people on my behalf can hit me up for cash when I get there.
And extra beer and cigarettes for Pat K.
Other than that, we're getting a good response with regards to places to crash, places to live, and we've salivating at some of the SWEET real estate deals we've found on line. Now if only we could find some of that money stuff.....
...right, and a job. Definitely a cushy job paying princely sums.
See y'all soon at PorCFest!
SWEET! :D
As to requests for food. PIG ROAST, hands down.
:Bacon_by_danniep:
:party-smiley-020: It's great to know that you folks are moving up soon! If you need a place to crash in the seacoast area, you are welcome in our small apartment. Keep us updated with the details so that we know where to be and when to be there to help you move in.
Don't look at me. I only ordered Vegemite because the government was giving people grief over it.
WOO HOO!
Kate and I found a place we liked so much that we signed a 1-yr lease.

We'll be cranking that "We made the move / 1st 1000" counter up another notch.
Welcome HOME!
I hope you like the Concord area. Plus, you will be in the FTL listening area!

If you need any help moving in, let me know. I'm just down the interstate a few exits (New London).
That's only about an hour and a half from us. I just wrote a note on our calendar. I look forward to helping you with moving in! :party-smiley-020:
Great town! Ed does his lumberjack competition there every fall.
Very cool. Glad to have you here :)
Joe
Great to see you both at PorcFest! Get home soon!
Ha!
I never knew that Bald Eagle was Bill.... :D
I bet there is at least one thing that everyone knows and one who doesn't
for each of us ;D
I don't know who 41mag is.
I'm marking my calendar: Aug 5th - Move someone ELSE into NH
Even after we talked at PorcFest?

I finally met 41mag --- even though I met him before... but now I know who he is.
And THANKS for lending me the book.... I started last night.
You're welcome. ;D
I would have thought that it wouldn't be that hard considering .41 magnum is a large revolver caliber. I'm one of the few carrying a revolver. :)
This is why I wish that folks on this forum would flesh out their profiles a little bit more, and also why I wish that events would print our forum handles on the name-tags :)
They printed mine. Not yours?
You could get pretty much anything printed on the tags. It would be helpful to use our names on forums.
They printed yours too!
Mine had NH FREE along with my name. We put 'Homeless In NH' on the tags of some folks who just moved to NH with no jobs or living arrangements.
Huh, I didn't know they had the option to print anything on the name-tags. I was thinking that it would be helpful if the form asked for any forum handles at the time of registering.

They did if you request it.... I will make sure that it happens at the Liberty Forum08.
My forum name was on my name tag also.
Do we know were in Warner?
Some of us slackers who still don't live in NH, have
make road trip plans. ;D
I know I'm not in Warner
If you look on the NH liberty calendar it is posted for August 5th.
We look forward to seeing everyone.
Come hungry. We are going to serve quite a good meal of southern food and other good food stuffs.
If People can let me know if they are coming that would help.
We are looking to get started around 12:00 pm.
Please PM with any questions.
Will will also serve southern sweet tea for those who miss it. :)
O-k, I always forget about the liberty calender.
99 percent chance I am coming.
It's great to have some new freestaters. We too just moved. We will be there to help, but need the address so we can know where to go.
We are looking forward to meeting you.
Here are the links on where to find us.

I haven't had proper sweet tea in YEARS. You can bet I'll find some way to be there.
Jesus. What's the mystery? You heat/boil the 1 cup per 1/2 gallon sugar solution to facilitate hydrolysis of sucrose to glucose and fructose. Add a dash of lemon juice or cola to acid-catalyze the hydrolysis. Proceed to make tea as usual.
heat, water (acid)
Sucrose ----> Glucose + Fructose

Q: Why did you get Brian and Jen's house filled that fast?
A: All I heard was that there was this really big man in a Ron Paul shirt who wanted the work done fast or else, so I just kept handing up the boxes. I didn't want to find out what "or else" meant.
I would be shocked to see Dreepa at our Party. I know he has more important things to take

71% want cameras everywhere
Okee doke. One day left to pack up the remaining stuff :P, and I'll probably be disconnecting the computer later on today.
Phone will be disconnected on Saturday - Kat has our cell number if anyone needs to contact us.
Everyone touch you monitors and send out those good Porcupine vibes in unison so that these final stages go smoothly. I've single handedly half-filled our dumpster. I'm reasonably on schedule. Nothing's been demolished, caught fire, and I haven't drawn blood or broken any bones or joints. But tomorrow's another day. ::)
... and it's going to be a Balmy 98 degrees in the legendary Richmond humidity.
I'll see you wonderful folks on Sunday!

I'm coming from Amherst. I suppose I could veer over in that direction first.
Porcs helping other Porcs ;D
I wanted to go to the machine gun shoot, but I think I'd rather help Bill move in to his new place. ;) There is about a 95% chance we'll be there. Is there a place we can let the kids loose to play, like a back yard?
I'm guessing Bill n Kate are in the fog-of-the-move and can't answer email.
I think he said he would be disconnected by now.
0% chance I'll be there. :(
It's been on my calendar since PorcFest. Best of Luck up there!

Nice photos :)
Yes. Good to see you Lou!
We got that truck unloaded pretty quick! We had it empty before 13:00.
Nice turn-out, it was great seeing every one.
Tis a fine thing that Bill and Kate are now in the free state.
and to get here .... they went way around the place that PatK lives .... not only did they move to a better place, but they didn't even have to look at the worst part of "the police state" from their windows :)
They are soooo FSP. They would be fish out of water anywhere else. Welcome home Bill and Kate!

I don't recall being mean to you Russell.
No need to rub it in.
I wanted to thank everyone for coming to help us move in. All of you made a very rough day a fun and easy event. I was surprised at fast the truck was empty and how fried I really was from the move. I couldn't have gotten it done without all of you.
My friends from VA that helped us move we very impressed with the help and the turn out. I hope it will sway there decision to eventually move up here.
Thanks to everyone.
Love Kate
Super-colossal thanks to everyone who came by and helped us unpack the truck. You eager workaholic maniacs unloaded the truck and shuttled 15 tons of stuff to the various floors in an amazingly short time!
Thanks also to everyone else who came by that got cheated out of moving stuff ::). I know I didn't get a chance to say hello to everyone or meet new (to me) people. A week of packing, plus 12+ hours of packing the truck, then 15+ hours drive to Warner, and the inevitable stress and lack of sleep just put me in "Duuuuhhhhrrrrrr....." mode for a while, and I move at too slow a pace to "work the crowd" and really meet everyone. But I'm here, so we'll meet again and I can learn the names and faces of fellow liberty lovers.
We're in the process of unpacking and organizing the first floor, but there's lots of food and beverages still available from the move-in party, so anyone who'd like to stop by and visit is more than welcome - we need to make room in the refrigerator for more stuff! :D 8) Just keep in mind that we'll be running around the place trying to find things and move stuff to better locations. I have NO problem with people dropping by for lunch, having some food and beverage on the porch, and then doing whatever strikes their fancy. Starving and homeless porcupines are welcome to stop by for a visit. ;D
Anyone who'd like to leisurely help rearrange boxes and move things around is welcome to help. ::)
Send an email, a forum message, or give us a call, and see how we're doing.
We will definitely need help in understanding and planning on how to deal with the Town govt. - especially, and starting with the trash and recyclables. :(
Here's what we're dealing with: http://warner.nh.us/ (http://warner.nh.us/) :P
Many thanks again to all of the wonderfully helpful and friendly porcupines who helped make things SO much easier and enjoyable.

The amount of time you would need to correct the effects of gov schools, you could homeschool, or get a second job to pay for private school.
This town spends almost $3,000,000 a year on schools. The town has less than 3,000 residents. No kids and I still have to pay for it. I wonder how much less my rent would be if it weren't for the taxes the landlord has to pay.
Yep, classic issues from a distorted market.
Those with kids are already paying thousands of dollars into the system, and have been paying for many years before having kids.
People where both parents need to work to make the amount of money they deem needed may not have the extra thousands available for private school nor the sheer time investment to home school. Doesn't make such people "bad parents", and the last thing such people need are constant reminders that they "could be doing better" for their children
