QuoteThat would appear to me to be a matter of the state (which administers the "sharing") having the greatest force. Isn't that what we oppose, and isn't that exactly what we have today?

And in anarchy, where all lands are legally occupied, the "state" is the landowner, forcing those who occupy their lands (to exist is to occupy someplace) to pay.

What I am against is not force per se but an unjust use of force. How about you?

you've gone around and dodged my points Ethan. My point is essentially this:

Georgists acknowledge that I have a right to use land, held in common with all other men, no?

They why do they proceed to tax me the moment I choose to use that right? By definition, my use of the land requires that I use it, and it implies that no one else may use the land because it is in use by me.

If any use of land triggers a tax, then it doesn't seem to me that I have any right to use land under your system. I've just got a glorified pay for play system. And I better hope I don't get too old to keep producing frns ...
