According to this FOX news piece, this means diplomacy has failed. Bush and Co. are said to be planning large-scale attacks soon after the primaries.

Why wait until after the primaries? Perhaps voters will be less likely to support the leading candidates who will all support the attacks? " In a shocking turn of events, Ron Paul is the R candidate for president and Dennis Kucinich(sp) is the Democrat"  8)
