If they quoted you $460.....they cannot charge you $1200 unless you approved the additional work. If they find this wrong and that wrong and you say to go ahead and do the work, then they can charge you.

I didn't say I had a problem with what they did.  It just wound up being a lot of money.  I approved all the work.
