When will we learn?
The system can not be saved.

Even more to the point: The system was inevitably flawed from the start.

It was most definitely the most superior system the world had ever seen, far surpassing any previous system of governance -- two hundred and thirty two years ago.


Some food for thought:

It is genuinely remarkable that people would sneer at the thought of limiting themselves to the "best personal transportation technology of two hundred years ago"... or the "best communication technology of two hundred years ago"... or the "best medical science of two hundred years ago"... etc...

...and then likewise sneer at anyone who calls them on their tenacious adherence to the "best system of governance as of two hundred and thirty years ago".

The current "democratic" system of governance is indeed still the best there ever was.  That is not an endorsement of the AMOG... or even to its credit.  Instead, it is a resounding indictment of the entire human race.  The core problem is that there is not enough deep thinking being focused on attaining a sound system, or model, of governance that is worthy of every honest person's support.

Each of us has at his disposal the most powerful tool in the universe -- the conscious mind.  It is being tragically wasted by most; and even more tragically, those who dare exert this tool, are subjected to the sneers of those too arrogant to do the same.

That is precisely why a system of governance that has been obsolete almost from its inception, is still wreaking its havoc throughout the world.

The 'founding fathers" exerted a tremendous amount of thinking, planning, and interactive communication to establish a superior system of governance in the late eighteenth century.  It will take an even greater degree of thinking, planning, and interactive discussion to replace the lesser monster they created, with a durable system of genuine freedom.
