Very good speech. 
I liked the Thoreau (sp?) Quote to Emerson, "Why are you still on the other side?"  or something like that.  I am unfamiliar with that quote, and prolly mangled it, I am familiar with the situation.  Thoreau was refusing to pay a tax to Mass. because the courts enforced slavery.  They ordered an escape slave back into slavery.  The police dutifully handcuffed and shackled him, and shipped him back to his ruler.

That is quite where we are.  We are on the brink.

When I recently called to governor's office, I informed them that this issue would likely push me over to the side of Civil Disobedience . . . (and towards giving up on voting.)

I did not bother to quote, " . . . death is not the worst of evils."  While they still might do the right thing, I'm not so sure that they either know and don't care; or they would simply care not to know.
