My first job here in NH was as a meter reader for Concord Steam Co. and I commented on the number of printers in the city. I was told that NH has the highest number of printers per capita than any other state.


My story of being a minority in a strange land: I was in the Navy and we were in Bahrain. A Jewish family invited the Jewish personnel over to their place for a Passover Seder. Their neighbors tolerated them only because they didn't show that they were Jewish. During a Seder the door needs to be open to let in the prophet Elijah. Instead of opening the apartment door to the hallway we opened the balcony door.
