This is an agorist/anarchist forum started by yours truly and Kat Kanning.  I like the tone of nhfree, so I would like that to hopefully carry over to Anarchy Base.  I suppose the biggest difference between the Anarchy Base and nhfree, is I am less interested in 'smashing the state', and more in forming a base, or city, (small) of anarchy.  I think most people feel comfortable in the society that they are in, and dont want to waste my time trying to convince them to leave or change it.  Rather, I want to focus my efforts on trying to establish a base of anarchy, with the broader goal of expanding it as the naysayers see that it works.  Literally, I don't want to 'force freedom down anyones throat'.   ;D ;)
If you are interested, join, but expect it to be slow, particularly at first.   :)

Puke, maybe you should start a forum for people to discuss the various forums. :)

Couldn't you guys join forces?  It would probably make for a livelier forum. :)

It doesn't appear David's forum is Keene-area focused, otherwise I'd invite him to have a subforum at FreeKeene.

I dunno. We already have a Keene forum. Should I just double-post everything?

FTL_Ian

That's a good question.  Clearly there's more activity here than there is there.

I guess the market will decide.

Ideally, people will migrate to FK for all things related to this region, but there has to be a reason to migrate, and without posts, there isn't much of a reason.  Bit of a catch-22.

Trees grow from seeds.
It'll be there if and when there is the need.

I don't think David really needed my help to set up the forum...he just wanted to show me dirty pictures on his computer.  :o

There is a section for keene, but my focus is more on a style and approach to achieving anarchy...in my lifetime.  (sound familiar  ;)  )  I favor an aggressive, but absolutely non threatening means to that end.  I have a blog, but was never satisfied in it as a means of communication.

forums take on the personality of those that post on them.  Find one, or two that you really like, then post on that one almost exclusively.  I really like Nhfree, so this has been my choice for a long time.  Prolly will continue, till hopefully traffic on mine will increase.   :)  Ian is right about the catch 22.  The other day, Russell wrote that the number of forum members goes up, but the actual number of posts doesn't really change.  There seems to be a core of active forum participants.  I have noticed this on other forums as well.

I did need your help, I was not even aware my hoster provided the forum template.
And, uhm, sorry about the pictures.

In reference to the complaints about word changeing on this forum, I will never have fun at others expense, harmless or otherwise 8)
