Which coins should I buy?

Hey all, I'm looking to possibly switch out some of my extensive (not really) inventory of bullion and numismatic coins, and I'm torn between a few items:

1 oz or less of palladium- Had some before, but had to sell last year to finance my car. Upward movement has been mild over the last 1-2 years, but the element does have a lot of industrial potential, especially given that the high price of platinum is gradually forcing car makers to switch to palladium for their catalytic converters. Perhaps I could cash in on the growth of the "green state," or at least compensate for the green it tries to bleed from me?

France 20 Franc Rooster (gold)- I've always wanted one of these, and they are only a small premium over spot. Best case they increase in premium, and at worst they hover around spot price.

The infamous Chinese Panda- People who know what they're talking about at least most of the time seem to think that these babies have some upside potential. Does anyone here think so? I would probably get one in palladium, if anything.

Any other ideas? As far as selling, I have large hunks of .999 silver, as well as some other random items worth more than spot, if anyone is interested. As always, my priority is always to buy from porcs, especially those in NH so I don't have to pay shipping (can pick up in 1-3 mos when I move).

Buy round ones.

Don't say that. Shire Silver isn't going to be round.

I think that matters as to why you're switching out your extensive bullion collection. Is it taking up too much space/weight in whatever it is now? Are you concerned that your hedge is underperforming? Are you planning on circulating your silver/gold to support an agorist economy? Are you trying to get pieces that look nice?

I'm amassing numismatic coins for investment purposes, and using generic bullion for trade purposes. BTW, I have some pics of the silver I'm trying to sell right now over here: http://libertarianactivism.com/pictures/megacoins-back.jpg and http://libertarianactivism.com/pictures/megacoins-front.jpg. Each are 1 troy lb (12 oz). Make me an offer I can't refuse! 8-)

If you're going for numismatic value, I'd say the gold rooster is probably the best bet.

Yeah but like I said it's only 5FRN over spot.
