Could this be an alternative to gas?

I know I had bought up this subject before but this appears to be a new thing I've never read of before so I'm wondering what you think.

It's a total scam. They should be ashamed.

They say 1-1.75 liter per minute. They don't say what pressure but let's say atmospheric. That is 9.5 BTU per minute. That is not a lot of energy.

There are 124,000 BTU per gallon of gasoline.
If you get 30mpg at 60MPH you will use about 4,100 BTU in 1 minute.

Darn!   They make it sound so good!  Thanks for looking anyway.

After reading a few websites touting this method, I get the impression that only a minor increase in mileage is obtained, as one would expect, from adding a small amount of hydrogen fuel.

The rather fantastic claims (up to 50% increase) always  seem to be associated with adding the optional electronic gizmo that sends false signals to the car's computer from the oxygen sensor and manifold pressure sensor, causing the engine to run leaner during acceleration.

So, if you've got a lead foot, adding these devices might help.  But you are basically trading horsepower for mileage.

It's theoretically possible to use some hydrogen as an alternative fuel if you had some hydrogen ready to go, but it's not even doing that. It's claiming to split hydrogen off from water, but you have to use electricity generated by your alternator to do that and it takes a LOT and some energy is always lost in the conversion, so there's no way for this method to help even a little bit. If anything, it would lower your mileage from the loss in efficiency. Some efficiency is always lost in converting one form of energy into another, which you'd actually be doing twice- gas to generate electricity and then electricity to split off hydrogen.

As for the other part, I don't know much about that. If it makes you accelerate more gradually or something, it's theoretically possible to help your mileage a tad, but that's also something you can just be more conscious of as you're driving. I've adjusted my driving habits considerably to save gas.

It is a scam... I keep on seeing this one again and again, these scams bug the crap out of me because I know some money hungry asshole is making a killing off of gullible people, if I could get my hands on these people... I'd... I'd.. I'd tell them I didn't appreciate their dishonesty.

It is a scam. However, the thought is still possible.

But the web site clearly states that it can use hydrogen to power your car. Therefore stating that you would have to separate water from Hydrogen. That isn't plausible.
