Although he stood on the shoulders of geniuses like Lenny Bruce and Mort Saul, Carlin was one Funny Son of a Bitch before he became the Sad Far Left Son of a Bitch of later years.

Life happens.
He was a funny guy.

If you're not a liberal when you're 20, then you have no heart.
If you're not a conservative when you're 40, then you have no brain.
If you're not a radical when you're 60, then you have no soul.

...and you should have a large piece of heavy mining equipment
dropped on you form a great height. ;D

The run up to the election won't be the same without him.

Wow, I had no idea Carlin was so on target about politics.

So long, George.  "This has been a most excellent adventure."

Romak

The man was a genius. Thankfully I got to see him live. Truly amazing.

I would have to say Bill and Ted's excellent adventure was George Carlin's low point in his career.

I love Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.  :)

I love George Carlin and will miss his direct, logical comedy!   I have some of his shows on cd and he's always made more sense to me than anyone.
