Last night's weeks FTL podcast (and so many others) includes Sam. ...
Many of us all still learning, which helps us evolve.
Keep up the evolution!
The change has begun.  :o  The change has come.

THEIR SYSTEM is quite DANGEROUS!
We don't need the danger.  We don't need their system.
Self-Government will work just fine.

Agreed.
What impresses me about your struggle, SamIAm, is the way you come off as such a quiet, unassuming, almost diffident sort of guy.  Intuitively, one would think that sort of demeanor would damage your case, yet it strengthens it, setting an example for people likely to be thinking, "If this guy can stand up for what's right, I can too."
I'm just over the river in Oklahoma, if you want to get in touch.  (And confrontation and suffering fools have never particularly been my strong suits, either!)

Emotional attachment ruins many cases. It's hard to be detached, but SamIAm, much like Dave Ridley, has developed the ability to avoid the emotional and focus on the logic.

I'm just down the river from you, in the Texarkana area. Holler if you're in the area.

Agreed, I was won over by suggestion, not pretentiousness, to an alternative view of the legitamacy of government. Acting as though you are right (even when you are) just makes you look like a pompous a-hole to those who don't agree. Let them act emotional, let them get defensive, always remain calm.

I would like to go on record as agreeing with my colleague from Salem.

I yield the balance of my time.
