I have only a few pictures, and they're pretty crappy because they're from my phone, but here they are. If you have pictures from today's (9/13/08) Manchester open-carry litter pick-up, I'd appreciate if you added them to this gallery (you can add them by using the web page links to upload, or by emailing your pics to the email address given on the gallery web page). Or at least post your pics somewhere so I can see them. Thanks.

It was fun seeing everyone. Quite a turnout!

The Manchester Open-Carry Litter PickUp happened today.  We started in Veteran's Park with an even dozen participants (Thank you, all who participated).  Our initial cleanup of the park, itself, consisted of a heap of discarded Obama and Carol Shea-Porter signs and literature.  So much for the Green movement, eh?  As we proceeded to PorcManor, we had at least five separate instances where homeowners or passers-by comented favorably on either the community service we were doing or the open-carrying.  Police drive-by's happened but were uneventful.  They waved back at the ladies and ignored the guys.  And to wrap things up, the Alec's Ice Cream Social at PorcManor was a blast.  Dozens of people, loads of ice cream, oddly a tank of helium...good times.

The next one is in 2 weeks time.  Another post will be forthcoming to announce it.

It would be great if we could get twenty or more for the next one. A real presence.
