The first one: great song, a cool video, nice music -- but I found the vocals to be really obnoxious.  Way too aggressive vocal affectation for my tastes.

I vastly prefer Canned Heat's version, despite the rather odd timbre of the lead singer's voice.  I really enjoyed seeing the Canned Heat vid.  Thanks for posting it!

I love Canned Heat!  I ALWAYS thought of NH when this song came on. . . except for that whole part about leaving the U-S-A. . . but I suppose it's not out of the realm of possibility should it come to that someday
