They just printed M1 up another 200 billion... that's almost 50% increase in a month.

They don't. 
The M1 is made up of a Currency component (coined and printed money) and Demand Deposits component (checking accounts/etc). While the M2 includes M1 plus other timed-deposits. Its part of the enacting legislation for supposed transparency...

then link to Economic Data-FRED in the toolbar at the top... click Monetary Aggregates in the right column.
