Although I am still selling the full version Store and Ignore Disaster Boxes...

I'd also like to start handing out something free:  The "Store and Ignore Disaster *Bag!*

It's basically a small collection of things that cost me little or nothing to obtain, but which would be of use during (and perhaps long before) a disaster situation.  I'd like to see these kinds of things more widely distributing around our the state in preparation for hard times.   As of roughly Feb 10, this is what I should be able to have in the bags...give or take an item or two:

Bandaids
Antiseptic wipes
A couple small candles
matches
plastic baggies
CD rom with 3mb of keyword-searchable disaster data

This will be nothing to write home about at first, and I won't always have them with me to give away.  But you can't argue with the price.  If want one, or if you have things you would like to get rid of and think they would be better suited in these bags than a goodwill bin...PM me.   I may not read this thread regularly.

doobie

Make sure you print the CD rom BEFORE a disaster as it'll be useless after a disaster :)
