Yeah, Manchester added a couple dozen police in the last budget cycle. Let's see what happens after this year's revenues are added up. >:D

PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - Governors of five U.S. states urged the federal government to provide $1 trillion in aid to the country's 50 states to help pay for education, welfare and infrastructure as states struggle with steep budget deficits amid a deepening recession.

Yeah bullshit. When the money crunch DOES hit them for real the first line on the budget won't be education. I wonder how many leo's will continue to do "their job" without pay. Maybe they'll be sucked into the domestic Federal military budget.
