Hi,

I have two guns for sale. I bought them while I was still considering which would be a good carry piece; I settled on a Beretta. Both are less than a year old and have been lightly used.

+++++++These are gone now. Happy shopping!++++++++

Willing to accept reasonable offer on either or both combined.

why couldn't you be selling something in a nice 9 MM or M&P 40?

I was thinking the same thing. I really need to pick up a 9mm, or bigger for OC in NH, though I think I wouldn't mind having the .22 since it would be a good plinker and also you could use the same rd's in a .22lr rifle, and pistol which is nice for a survival type situation.

If you have the .22 still in 2 weeks when I get to NH I might get it from you.

I strongly recommend the p22.

If you had to choose between 22LR and 380 for protection... tough choice.

I'd take the .22LR. too

ColdSoul

I don't plan on carrying a .22lr for protection, I will carry a 9mm, .40 or .45 for that. I am leaning towards picking up a 1911 45 ACP.

I am thinking about getting the .22lr for target practice

That's not what I meant.  I can't speak to the .380, never played with one.  I'm just saying the p22 is a darned fine gun.  The PPK is supposed to be equally excellent.

I'm still planning to pick up a Glock at some point. However, I carry concealed and found that I just don't pack the larger pieces when it comes down to it. They're too heavy or the holster is annoying. My Beretta is a .32 Tomcat, I tried it against the .380, 9 mm etc. and I'm more accurate with the Tomcat. Also, like the P22 or PPK/S, the Tomcat has an external hammer with a half-cock safety, so I can load one in the pipe and not worry about accidental discharge. People who open carry might as well go with a .45, because those cannons will dissuade all but the must cheese-addled potential mugger! (if you like the adjective "cheese addled", please feel free to adopt it, I just coined it!)

Hehe, yeah I plan on open carrying for the most part since it will be awhile before I go for a CC license, but even if I do get a CC as a resident just to prove to the gunshop that I am a resident before I get my ID, I will most likely open carry even if I do CC because the pistol I have decided on is the XD(M) 9mm (19+1) which is going to be to big to CC. Plus I am a big dude, so small pistols just don't cut it for me, that's the reason I am only interested in the P22 once I handle it, it might be to small for my hands. The only pistol I owned was a 9mm double stack which some of my guy friends thought was to big, but it fit my hand like nothing. I wanted a .45 double stack (and will get one). To me having the 19+1 and then additional 19 rounds is the best thing, 9mm non-hollow point rounds are not the best on stopping power, but a 9mm HP is pretty good, but I will admit if your in bear territory a .45 ACP might be better, especially with a 14 round gun (13+1).

But no matter how many rounds you have if you don't know your gun, and are comfortable with it, and keep it well maintained and loaded and with you it's not going to do you any good. I guess I don't worry to much about belt weight because I use to carry a good 10+ lbs in belt weight at work and that was without a pistol (Pepper spray, handcuffs, first aid kit, flashlight, tons of keys on a duty belt). The main thing is getting a belt that will distribute the weight evenly over your hips (atleast for me).

You still have the P22?  If so, is the laser the factory laser?

I am very interested.
