Although the idea of all of the Bats dying out is a little scary, the thing that I found interesting is that they estimate Bat population in NH at a measly 4500!

4,500 sounds way low... Winchestershire has quite a few bats as do we over here (of course our bats are communists )

One thing that makes me suspect of numbers from many sources, is they have an incentive to exaggerate or underreport because they are looking for more funding.
