when I was a nursing student some of the female nurses were treated quite horribly by their patients, which led them to be given to me as patients.  Since I'm a man, all the old fogies kept calling me "doctor". . . I guess "doctors" get respect for some reason while the nurses clean up the crap (literally)

Yeah, we had a male student in our class and I could see that happening here and there.  So how are we allowed to defend ourselves if so many things we say are against the law now?

I guess I was lucky because I only had a handful of difficult, combative residents the other residents were awesome and like I said the verbal stuff I can handle it's just the physical stuff I can't.   One LNA had her arm in a sling because a resident hurt her so bad, that's scary and my mom knew this nurse that lost her baby because a patient beat her up so bad.

Hey Rainey!  Congrats on getting your LNA!  When the hell did you have time to do that with homeschooling, kids, grandkids, etc.???

Anton:  Are you a RN?

My daughter is graduating h.s. this year and wants to go into nursing.  She got accepted at a school, though, that doesn't have a nursing program.  Unfortunately she's now going to have to go 4 years and get her BS in a science, then go an additional year (?) for her RN.  It seems like it would just be simpler if she went to Concord Tech.

Thanks Jan!  :D   I don't sleep that much anymore!  :-\   That's too bad, it does seem like it would be better for her to go to Concord Tech.
