Ever since I woke up and realized just how evil the 'state' really is I've been less and less surprised by the actions it's enforcers take on a daily basis. But occasionally, an offense of theirs gets spotlighted and really hits home.

Can you imagine getting a call from your wife, at the hospital, sobbing as her mother lay dying before her? Can you imagine just how much you'd want to be there; to comfort her, to be with her at a time when she needed you most? Regardless of how you feel about your mother-in-law (I happen to love mine) you'd want to be there for your wife right? Or your husband? You get the picture, I hope.

Well, here we have one of those fucking asshat thugs in blue, harassing someone for rushing to be there for his loved one. I have to say Mr. Moats showed far more restraint than I would have in the situation he found himself in.

Anyway...this article pissed me off and I needed to vent to some folks who'd understand. Read on at

Cop prevented RB from being with dying relative

PLANO, Texas (AP) - A police officer pulled over an NFL player rushing to see his dying mother-in-law, drew his gun, threatened the player with jail and held him in the hospital parking lot as she died, officials said Thursday.

Everyone should remember that when they hear someone say the law is the law. Either you repeal the speeding laws OR you accept this as part of the "normal" dying process. There's no middle ground.

I'm hurt for the guy, honestly. As for 'the law', when was the last time you ever saw 'the law' serve true justice? Where's the fucking victim when the guy waited to make sure it was safe to proceed before going thru the light? Where's the victim when he obviously arrived at the hospital safely without causing any accidents?

Fuck 'the state'! I'm done dealing nice with their kind of oppressors.

I wonder what'd happen if someone from the FSP reached out to the Moatses after this. Think he might be able to see the point behind the movement? And for that matter, I'm seriously reconsidering moving across the river.
